If I got it right, Stary Kredens has been transformed into a gourmet restaurant by a Polish celebrity-restaurateur Magda Gessler. I’ve no idea how was the food before the transformation but presently it’s simply delicious. Pierogi were amazing but goose roulade was really something special, succulent and tender, definitely best goose I’ve had. If I get a chance to visit Sanok again, I’ll definitely visit Stary Kredens once more.Helpful and discreet staff.

We stopped there for a lunch. We ordered bell pepper soup and goulash soup. Both were good. Also we ordered tenderloin medallions, pancakes with spinach and some other stuff. All was really tasty. Prices reasonable. Weakest point was service. Though they tried to be nice - something went wrong and we did not receive all what we actually ordered. Though - would come back.

My wife wanted Polish food so we stopped in. (We've lived in Rzeszow for two years, so go figure.) It's an attractive little place--old (tube) TV, radio, etc and vintage pictures...we had fried pork chop, chicken and Hungarian goulash...all pretty good. Definitely order the celery salad and fried potatoes!Service was okay, but: We're accustomed to having our server come by and ask the usual: "is everything ok ? Would you like anything else?" Never happened. Our waitress spoke English proficiently which is a plus during tourist season. The food was good and the setting was pleasant; we'd go back.
