Find out what Central European restaurants to try in Saas-Fee. Snow sports rule in Saas-Fee. Thanks to its proximity to the glaciers of the Pennine Alps, it’s a winter wonderland year-round, perfect for skiing, snowboarding, sledding, skating and snuggling up for a romantic après ski. The village is car-free, so be sure to save some of that slope energy for your post-ski strolls.

We visit Saas Fee every year and Restaurant Bristol is always on our To-Do list when it comes to simple but freshly cooked lunch with a friendly service. This family run Restaurant/Hotel offers a classic menu for children (French Fries, Sausage, Nuggets, Schnitzel) and a daily changing menu for adults. Besides you will find a salad buffet and variety of a la carte dishes with local specialities, hearty soups, spaghetti with meat sauce etc. One of my favourites is Goulasch soup for 9.50 CHF. The size of the servings could be a bit more generous. Families with young children will be happy to find a fully equipped bathroom to change diapers. The sunny terrace (as of February you will get more sun) gives a terrific view on the spectacular mountain arena that surrounds the village of Saas Fee.

As I wait for my large portion I received a small piece of pie and a plate full of salad leaves drowned in dressing. A salad with nothing but lettuce? No tomato, cucumber etc... Basics. 4.80chf for a small bottle of water. Really had the highest of expectations for this place but would not return. Feel like we overpaid, under ate and definitely did not enjoy. I could of eaten more from the garden

La Ferme is as much a part of Saas-Fee as the Leaning Tower is part of Pisa. Inside, it is decorated in traditional style, typical of the region, and you'll find a warm, cosy atmosphere where every detail has been thought about. Whether you come for coffe
We though we had found a traditional Swiss restaurant and excitedly ordered a lunch of Rosti, salad and the special of marinated chicken with fries. It took quite a while to arrive. The Rosti arrived 10 minutes before the rest of the lunch and was luke warm, with semi-melted cheese. The chicken was fine, a small portion of fries came with it, it was served in a tiny basket which was impossible to cut! I asked for a plate and moved it. Very disappointing food at an extortionate price. The waitress was nice but very overwhelmed. She should have had more help. The chef is not good here, I'm sorry to say.

Arvu Stuba is referred on lots of table booking sites - but I cant find a website for them
Delightful property, clean, tasteful, typically Swiss in spatial organization and presentation, great mountain and village views, great breakfast, easy check-in, helpful hotelier with suggestions and recommendations about the village, restaurants and travel. Highly recommended.

Our group of three was looking for a decent lunch while in Saas-Fee, and accidentally we spotted Walliserkanne and saw that their menu outside was nicely printed, hinting that also their food might be worthy. And indeed it was more than worthy, ie aesthetically nice looking and rich and balanced in taste. Besides this, the service was prompt and friendly in a natural manner. We were so pleased with this restaurant that one of us came to eat also the next day (while two of us were out of the village), and day after that we all ate there again. And every time the above-mentioned applies with the food and service. â This is clearly a real restaurant with far better options than Rösti and fondue only, plus with good service, so next time in Saas-Fee it is easier to choose where to eat: in Walliserkanne.

You have to take a little hike into the forest to find your way to this lovely restaurant. One of those chalets that is dripping with charm and fits your idea of what a Swiss mountain restaurant should look like. Meal was great - pricing reasonable but portions quite large so we were actually glad to have to walk it off afterwards. Excellent selection of wines - always go for the local wines. Gets busy so budget for a bit of extra time. The little animal section is super cute for small kids and afterwards walk down and around to spot the alpacas and camel.

Had dinner several times during our 2 weeks holidays. Interior, friendliness and quality of food was simply EXCELLENT! The place to be in Saas-Grund :-) Also very dog-friendly which was a bonus as we brought 2 dogs. Highly recommendable! We will surely gladly return on our next holiday in Saas-Tal :-)

Warm vibe, traditional Swiss offerings. I had the grilled lamb chops and they were superb. The restaurant was packed and yet the service was attentive and personable. I can definitely recommend it to other travelers.

We ate here twice this holiday and were served delicious food in a warm friendly atmosphere. The chef comes round to check that all is well which is a nice touch. If you come at the weekend book in advance because this restaurant is popular with holiday guests and locals.
