We stopped in here yesterday afternoon for drinks and a couple of snacks (pate ith yummy breads, and pork meatballs on an open sandwhich). Lovely food, friendly service, cold drinks made it a great stop!

I went there for a birthday with 7 people and everything from the beginning till the end did not disappointed! The waiter was a professional and it was able to answer all our questions in a perfect English, everything we wished for he made it happen.Thank you so much! We had the Dry-Aged Carpaccio wit Truffle and Foie Gras and it was more than perfect, then we had Fish( Pike Perch Filet) for the main course and it was again amazing. Their Chef and the Kitchen staff they really know how to cook amazingly tasty delicious food! Try the Honey pears with the Goat Cheese for dessert! You will thank me!Everything was perfect! Upon entering Milda your ears will start listening to relaxing piano and saxophone music in the background. The ambience is very clean and kept rather modern. The waiters are friendly and professional - automatically offering you the menu in English when you greet them with a hello. The menu mostly offers traditional Latvian dishes as well as some Latvian beers. The prices are quite fair and the portion of my traditional potato dish was rather large and satisfying. We received an appetizer - bread with chicken liver pâté - for free. Milda is worth a visit if you're interested in local cuisine and a relaxing atmosphere while eating.

Fantastic relaxed atmosphere. The food is brilliant, clever with loads of hidden subtle tastes. The restaurant was full and tables fully booked for the night. The staff were really helpful with the chicken main course and Elk burger being highlights. The special ice cream was recommended by the waiter and waitress, and the many beautiful flavours and the presentation was a triumph. The cost was a lot less than we expected, and so therefore we felt we had great value. Very happy to recommend Domini Capes to all.

As I live in England but my parents live in Riga, I wanted to make surprise for my mum's birthday so I chose this restaurant. It was Very easy to book through email, they satisfied all my requests and even more. We are very happy with are service (2 girls was great sorry don't remember there names). The food was amazing, very tasty and generous portions. Lovely atmosphere!Thank you very much for making my mum's birthday so speical. Highly recommended.

We had dinner here and expectations were quite high based on ratings and recommendations. Most of tje food were tasteless and looked much better than actually tasted. They seemed to have forgotten all spices from the food. Would not recommend this one, pick another one.

Vincents is excellent and worth the expense. We ate here as our âsplurge mealâ for our 9 day trip to Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. ...but other than then, it was a pretty 'ok' experience.The food was great, despite the fact the two medium grilled beef fillet' ended up being one medium and one medium red (grill is their speciality) - and this after they were out of the Chateaubriand, which seemed to be a 'show piece' on the menu, more than something they actually have in stock (waitress looked surprised that anyone would order it)? On our second visit to this beautiful "old town" city of Riga, we rushed to the restaurant to book a late table after the opera (which is almost opposite) and were again delighted with the ambience, the food, its presentation and the service. The flavours of the food were not spoilt by too much "presentation"; the table settings and cutlery/crockery top-class and there is a lovely view over the park from the enormous windows. Relaxed and replete..what more can one say except that we hope to visit Riga again and the Kolonade will be on the list of to-do.
