We loved our evening at Riegers. The service was spot on, really friendly and caring. The atmosphere was wonderful. Slightly modern still keeping the rustic charm befitting the town. We shared flammkuchen for entree....we LOVE flammkuchen so relished the chance! Perfectly crisp base, lovely topping, beautifully cooked and light as a feather. Main was venison for me and cooked to perfection with a lovely reduction sauce, perfectly cooked brussel sprouts and chewy parsnip. Seasonal, fresh and delicious. They served the noodles separately and I was happy for that as the dish didn't need it (in my opinion) the portion size was good as is. Portion sizes in Germany seem enormous! My husband had 200gms of rump steak cooked medium rare (you ask for it cooked "English" to get rare to medium rare in this part of Germany!). This dish was a bit of a let down for three simple reasons easy to correct. The steak was unrested so the blood drained onto the plate and mixed with the sauce to make for a pink look, not ideal. The mushroom sauce itself was just bland and needed a good dose of mushroom taste and acidity. The potatoes served with his dish were a bit oily and not very appetising. Just basic errors which I think were the result of a busy kitchen rather than an overall downfall in the cooking as my venison proved they know their stuff out back. So I would absolutely recommend Riegers. The wine list is small and very well priced, the staff really care and it's a great little restaurant we'd return to if we were staying longer.

Fresh cuisine - hearty to vegan, regional to international. In our restaurant, the world of culinary delights meet. International light or hearty cooked refined with regional products. Best Austrian and international drop off your culinary pleasure round.
Riezler Hof is a very nice restaurant, a little snob I might say... I would not mind it if the service would be accordingly excellent - it isn't. The German waitresses are not as friendly as you would expect in a nice restaurant as this one. My Austrian companion said he thinks they were rude. I think she was eventually was just too busy while the manager was busy with her smart phone and standing around in the reception..About the food - that was best in Kleinwalsertal and the wine was very good too. We paid for nice appetisers, nice main courses, 0.5L Zweigelt and a campari to start with 72⬠which is less than in some other places in Kleinwalsertal while food was the best. I hope they improve their service. If they will I will give them next time 5 points but tonights service can impossible be recognised with more that 4 points even the food was very, very good. My compliments to the cook!Eventually German guests think the German waitresses are polite. I did not.

The setting is the best, and any meal will be suitable at any time to be here, with such a lovely view! The coffee+Kuchen (cakes) are very welcome, their sausages are good, but you cannot expect neither more, nor less - you are at the top of the mountain, surrounded with lovely views - you don´t come here to enjoy a meal, you come here, to enjoy a Ski, a view, and a relaxation, and for that, this place is outstanding - go, you´ll enjoy!Just don´t expect a 500 gram New York Steak cooked to perfection. It´s just not the place for it. Enjoy other things they offer standing up and high to meet your expectations!Would I go back? Yes - I did during my short stay!

We stopped here for lunch during a cold skiing day. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown a table in the cosy and charming restaurant. The menu is truly Austrian and fairly priced. The dishes are served rapidly and the portions are gigantic. The quality is outstanding. Special mention for the garlic soup. I strongly recommend this restaurant for a good traditional meal.

A recent visit to Riezlern found me & my family eating 4 out of 5 nights in this very friendly restaurant. We had something different each time and nothing disappointed us. The owner and all the staff were friendly & efficient. I would highly recommend it.

We had asked our host at our vacation home where we could have dinner - one of her recommendations was the Eberlehof. As it is situated somewhat out of the well traveled areas we were surprised that there was a rather large crowd for dinner. Once we ordered and were served we understood why so many came there - the service was very friendly and attentive, the food was good and generous. All around a very good experience.
