We had a lovely meal in a nice setting in the square. The vegetarian choice was a little short on selection of grilled veggies which was almost entirely undercooked courgette and pepper. The pork dish was beautiful though.Thank You.Sorry for the vegetables. You should let us know and we would of done a knew dish.Bistro Alighieri

While waiting for our food they put bread and truffle cheese spread in front of us without us asking, but still charged us for it. We then received our starters of octopus salad (definitely not fresh octopus) and shrimp risotto (which was 100% microwaved). The octopus salad as well lacked flavour and we had to ask lemon just to lift the dish. Then the 500g ribeye came out and the beef fillet. We asked to switch out the potatoes that come with the fillet for fries, which the waiter pushed us to order fries as a side and keep the potatoes. Both of which were not eaten and with the amount given were very off putting. The steaks however were very good and cooked exactly how they were supposed to be cooked. The waiter was also friendly. If you only care about meat then go here, but if you care about a full meal of variety and flavours then this is not the place for you (or me)

Restaurat Bodulka is situated in Hotel Velanera in a quiet village of Šišan, 8 km from the ancient Pula. Restaurant is serving local specialities and wines, it offers free wired internet and air-conditioned accommodation.
Visited Pula during 2017 Fall Ironman... We were looking for a unique restaurant to reflect a local Balkan culture, taste, and atmosphere. The restaurant is located in one of the local villages not too far from Pula. We have called and booked a table. Chef Dusan Äernjul turned out to be a wonderful and welcoming person who took his time explaining his menu and suggestions for us.We were impressed with the food quality and presentation all together. Needless to say, I will be back there in the future...

We receive guests only through reservation because outstanding preparation, goods are from market onto the plate. Please note that due to only fresh goods, especially fish menu, it is highly important to reserve seating at least 8 hours before meal.
We arrived here on a warm evening to find there was no A/C where they were seating us. Also, there were few if any other guests in the restaurant. The waiter was a bit aloof and warned us that not everything on the menu was available....no specifics. We managed to order our dinners and enjoyed our meals, but the bill ended up being about $200/per couple, which was very expensive compared to other fine restaurants in which we had dined, We drank very little in the way of alcohol. Apparently the restaurant does most of its business from hotel guests/packages. Would not recommend this restaurant or eat here again.Dear Mr. Henrick, You were in Restaurant. As we recall, two couples. One couple ate vegetarian course, and it costed together with water and known beer 725 HRK what is as you said approximately 106USD. Second pair consumed cheese from Island of Pag, Wine Cuver Trapan, Malvazija Coronica, Salad , Istrian Ox, Black truffles, in amount of 1170 HRK. This small food of istrian delician you would pay nowhere such miserable. Please go in some Restaurants in Italy , Austria. This everything was 171 $ what is per person 85USD . You had two bills, and you paid them seperately. So you said that you paid per couple 200% is lie. It is not fair from your side , especially from USA to speak such nonseanse. If you ask for it, you pay per couple 138,5 USD per couple, and you should appologize to us. We served you as real gentlemans. Except that we need to worry about your commotion that you ask on open terrace A/C. Even you could use it if we close everything, but we do not do that. In Restaurant you could without any problem get a table where is a/c as in whole object. You from waiter asked for food that is special from Istria ( short Istrian slow food) and you let our Chef do everything for you. In our Restaurant there are our guests, but uppon inquiry as well. Guest has our menu , and comes already prepared compared to you. It is our pleasure that you are honest and that you had great meal. It is important for us and we hope that you will come next time. We invite you. Best regards-.

My wife and I each enjoyed a mixed vegetable plate. A very tasty mix of rice, potatoes with spinach and baked aubergine with peppers with chips and tomatoes. We had it with a helping of garlic bread. Tasty and inexpensive (250 Kune or about 33â¬). The waiter and waitress were attentive and helpful. All in all an excellent experience .
