I went here as a guest with some business partners. Overall, I was satisified with my meal, but found the server to be a little distant.I'm not accustomed to German cuisine, but comments on each of my dishes as follows:1) Tomatencremesuppe - It translates into English as you would expect. I thought this was pretty good. Nothing too extraordinary about it, but it had a good texture, consistency and flavour. I would order it again.2) Daily Venison (I don't recall the German name) - This was OK. I thought the venison was overcooked, so it was like eating liver. I've had better preparations.3) Das Mousse - This dessert was well presented, and overall, very good. The server was competent, but hardly smiled. I wasn't sure if she was naturally unfriendly, or was having a rough day and didn't really want to interact with her guests. She wasn't horrible, but she didn't add anything to the dining experience.Overall, I was pretty happy with my meal and wouldn't mind coming back next time I'm in town.

We have been to the Seehaus twice recently for dinner with our young adult children and have enjoyed very good food served graciously in a relaxing open air atmosphere. A little off the beaten path of Pforzheim about 15 minutes outside the centre along a beautiful winding road through the forest just past the Wildpark. It seems to cater to all types of families and events. I was especially pleased to have my meal adjusted to respond to my lactose intolerance which I hadn't specifically mentioned and yet the waiter understood from the questions I was asking and took the initiative to make a recommendation. The desserts were just as good as the mains and the wine list was also quite acceptable with an emphasis on local labels.

In the valley of the river Würm, one of the 3 rivers of Pforzheim, this restaurant is very popular for its nice local food of just a beer in the garden after a hike along the valley or on the slopes of the Black Forest

We wanted to have a romantic dinner. We ordered a starter plate and a second course (a steak of course). We have not finished the starter and waitress took away without asking! At this point I interrupted her. She explained us, tat the steak was ready, and because of that she took our first plate. It is not a fast food restaurant. I expect some courtesy. And I want to finish my dish, and I'd expect a main course coming after the first, and not in between. The best point was, that I asked for the manager, and I was told that he was busy in the kitchen, so he did not come.

We were a group of about 14 people and as we waited for all to arrive, they served home made quiche and Flamm Kuchen as appetizers. The food when ordered was also exceptional and very filling. Worth a visit

We have been here before and we always love the food, fresh, authentic and very tasty. I believe it is a family owned restaurant, they provide friendly service, serving great quality food reflected in their prices. Their salads are so fresh, all the foods we have had have always been exceptional, schnitzel, fried potatoes, spätzle and vegetables. They have a good wine lis and are excellent at recommending wines. We as love their traditional decor, it is warm and cozy. We would definitely go back!Hello, thank you very much. That's very kind of you. All the best! Goodbye, See you soon.Monika und Manfred Hoppe
