We visited this restaurant on two occasions on the first we selected from the set menu, service was excellent and the food first class, with a special mention for the Pork Tenderloin which was exceptionally good! The set three course dinner for â¬15.90 was fantastic value.Pre dinner gin & tonics plus two three course meals and a bottle of wine our total bill was â¬52 FANTASTIC!!On the second visit one person again decided on the set menu whilst myself and another went for the A la Carte, the three main courses were 2 x pork tenderloin and one shoulder of lamb. The food was again excellent although on this visit the service was rather slow and slightly lacking in attention to diners! My advice would be to stay with the set menu provided the choices available fit what you are looking for, it represents far better value and the portion sizes were no different to the full A la Carte.

We have been here numerous times before and always leave with the same observations, why or why are the portion sizes so ridiculously large. Some earlier post referred to the portions as being âhealthyâ , they are anything but! Frankly the food, whilst very tasty, put us all off as soon as we saw the size of the plates! Our view is that they could at least reduce the size of the portions by 50% and charge the same price.My only other negative comment is the policy of the management, we were a group of 5. I wanted to pay by card our guests by cash. Not possible we were firmly told. All by cash or all by card. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?However the food was of good quality and the views are fantastic.

The food here was neither particularly creative nor Mediterranean in style--I'd call it standard good-quality central European. While not exciting, there was nothing to complain about, either; everything was cooked to perfection, salted just right, and served at the proper temperature. Friendly, attentive service. There was scarcely a vacant seat--be sure to reserve. Excellent value.
