I was not impressed with the interior at first, but felt instantly at home thanks to the couple great waiters. The food (pepper steak) was amazing.

Great Pilsner from tank, traditional czech food made to perfection. Can get busy though (but we were visiting during the festival and they had a special menu for this occasion with delicious meals). Pork cheeks were exquisite :)

After 15 minutes we got drinks than starters. Until now was everything good. When we had finished starters nobody came for long time, about 45minutes. The restaurant was still empty.Than had came waiter and we ordered main meals, steak rar and steak´s chips and tartar steak and toasts.Steak was prepare medium, toasts and chips were burnt and cloves of garlic were carious (on photo). We complained but waiter said only I´m sorry. We were realy disappointed from the food. No local I hope that a cooker had only bad afternoon and it´s not standard.

My sister celebrated her birhtday in this restaurant last month. There were 14 of us including 5 children from the age of 3-12. Because we wanted everyone to choose their meal, we arranged with the staff that we would send them a list of meals - which was probably a goog idea - everyone ate at the same time. The carrot soup was delicious as well as the other dishes. The waitresses were pleasant (above average for Ostrava) and we had a wonderful afternoon. I can only recommend this place although the prices are above average as well.

The food is superb. I had squid-ink pasta and grilled duck, both were beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. Good, attentive service is leisurely, meant to be a long enjoyable evening with friends. Extensive wine list with excellent choices and proper decanting and presentation of the cork. This place exudes class but is very unpretentious. When you're done with the meal, save room for dessert. The caramel cheesecake is to die for. Since I am neither a caramel nor cheesecake fan, saying how good this dessert is means that it's really incredible.

We had family dinner here (made a reservation) and highly recommended!Interior is spacious with wood & stone combination. Service is great, helpful and open. They help us to combine vines with various meals and also appreciate to adjust and prepare meals for my vegan girlfriend. Food itself was amazing, delicious and perfectly combine of flavors, spices and taste â specially roast boar cutlets with pancakes stuffed cabbage lachian, brisket with red wine sauce with celery purée, veal tongue and homemade lemonade with ginger and mint. So finally you can find in the menu traditional Czech cuisine and not only pasta, potato gnocchi and tenderloin with lemon, marmalade and dumplings. Hope there will be more such options. Overall, it was outstanding experience and really happy to have this kind of choice in Ostrava, hope more in future :) (check also their branches as Brewery Ostrava for their awesome beer). Park places available in front of restaurant, Visa / Maestro cards accepted

I had a goulash and it was really tender and tasty. The menu is in German and English available, the prices are moderate. If youâre looking for some local dishes, try Moravská Chalupa ;-)

I was there last night with a couple of friends. This place deserves every bit of success: the food was excellent, fresh, cooked and presented well, the service was professional and warm, the price absolutely reasonable. I am Italian and extremely demanding with food, but this place was really something you would expect from anything with "restaurant" written outside. Finally a total steer away from the usual greasy, cheap, boring, only-aimed-at-filling-stomach local stuff, where the food is depressing almost as much as the service ("order, eat and be gone"). Guest Restaurant is welcoming, personnel is friendly, spoke great English and demonstrated a very good level of professionalism: never seen this level in Ostrava, not even in those places claiming to be "good", only feeding their delusion. The Owner/Chef is really nice and friendly, his obvious passion for food is only matched by the quality and taste of his food. Great place, will go back there again with my husband for the tasting menu. Best candidate so far to be not only the best restaurant in Ostrava, but also my favorite place (something way more difficult to achieve!). Good job!
