Eetlokaal Klinkers restaurant is located in Oosterhout centre close to the impressive tower of the St-jans Basilica AD 1493. Furnishings and decoration provide a brasserie-café atmosphere. The food is much better than the name âEetlokaalâ indicates. Service is adequate and friendly.Traditional cuisine defines its character. We came on a weekday and the restaurant was pretty full, a good sign. We went for a classical course and were not disappointed. Food is well presented and tasty.We recommend Eetlokaal Klinkers to anyone who seeks good food at a reasonable price. We had really negative experience there. The restaurant that is already quite expensive charged us 12.90 euro for still water from a jar that they boast they get from the local deep water reservoir! And can you imagine a limoncello for 8.90 euro per portion?! It is not in the menue and thus we couldn't know the price until we asked the waiter that is not a really convenient practice.And in general the food was not worth the money. Might be Michelin critics find those tastes interesting but I guess it is not what regular customers seek for.
