For many years on the territory of Mukacheve town, just under the Palanok castle, the great restaurant of modern European cuisine Poryadniy Gazda is opened and inviting all the guests to taste delicious and unique dishes of both Ukrainian and Hungarian co
Grafskiy Dvir always leaves in my mind unforgettable memories. This is a must visit place for me during each vacation in Ukraine. This is a paradise for meat lovers and people who are fond of kraft food and beverages. It's not easy to find the place where each guest will feel valued, as if he or she is the only person who is dining today. :) The menu list is full of unknown but at the same time tasty dishes. A new yummy addition is cheese of own production. There are 4 or 5 kinds of it. Looking forward to come back again! Thank you and you are wellcome!

The Mileniym restaurant is located 5 minutes walking from the city center. It offers outside seating (weather in beginning of October permitted this - nobody was sitting inside). We stayed in Mukacheve two days and we went to the Mileniym for two dinners because this is an excellent restaurant. The service is very good and friendly, the first evening we had an English speaking waiter, the second evening we had an Hungarian speaking waiter - but you have to insist on reasonable communications with the waiter. The food itself is excellent and there is a good chef behind the kitchen door. Everything we ate was tasty and done with an extra touch. This is why we did not bother to look elsewhere after the first dinner. We tried local specialties such as Borsht soup (bit root based) and Bogrash soup (Local Meat Soup), Bacon rolls with cottage & Gorgonzola cheese filling, Galushka all were uniquely tasty, we also had outstanding Creamy Broccoli Soup, very good salads and Barbecued specialties T- Bone and barbecued Trout, everything was tasty and excellent and all are recommended. The grill is done on open fire and you can feel this. If you want to order apple strude for desert, let the waiter know this because they take 30 minutes of preparation. There is a good offering of alcohol and beers, we opted for local Merlot dry red which was good.Price is very reasonable by European standards, excellent value. Ukraine in general is not expensive for Western Tourists.
