The BarfüÃer craft brewery in Memmingen is a top quality location amid the inner-city of Memmingen. Guests can enjoy Swabian-Bavarian specialties and home-brewed delicious BarfüÃer on the huge and comfortable beer garden or the modern designed restaurant.
Came for lunch with friends. Ordered 3 pizzas and schnitzel and waited 1.5 h to be served... way out of proportion for what the meal was. Food was tasteful, but would never decide to stay knowing how long it would take to be served. Our experience would be better if we would be informed along the way what is the problem...seemed understaffed.Dear syllwii, we´re deeply sorry for the inconvenience and that no one informed you beforhand. We will forward your note to our restaurant manager in order to find out the matter which caused the waiting time.Kind regards your BarfüÃer team

I randomly got off in Memmingen because I was hungry. Followed signs for the center of town and parked my car. I wandered around for a few minutes and then came across this delightful restaurant situated beside the canal. They were most gracious...I only speak English and some Italian....and were happy to explain their dishes to me. I tried their regional plate with three different dishes....all very good and fresh. For dessert, I had their apple dessert, which was obviously freshly made. The apples were not overcooked and had a lot of flavor. I did not have any wine here, as I was driving, so I cannot comment on that.

Located in the courtyard of one of the oldest, but immaculately renovated, buildings from the Middle Ages, situated between a great museum and the city library, this very popular cafe-restaurant is known mostly to the natives. Outdoor/indoor seating, the atmosphere of the 16th/17th century, great food, wonderful pastries, excellent service by the owners at reasonable prices offer an incomparable experience to the uninitiated. Since the natives (the "regulars") keep coming back, it is sometimes hard to find a free table - particularly during the lunch hours - although there are plenty of tables available. Café Kunz is definitely worth a visit while spending time in Memmingen - satisfaction is guaranteed!
200-year old Wine bar, the oldest restaurant by the river in this town has a charming, warm homestyle food and variety of wine.
Really nice place with traditional cousine in old old building. There was no tourists just the memmingen citizens. I highly recommend.
