I had dinner there recently and it was an enjoyable experience. Parkrestaurant is actually located within a senior residence but is open for external guests. The dining room is quite cozy.Thumbs-up for the great service during the entire dinner thanks to the friendly and efficient waiter.Food is delicious but portions could be more substantial. As starter I chose the homemade "Ravioli di brasato" (ravioli with minced beef, red wine sauce and parmesan). As main course I ordered the tasty "Eglifilets Müllerinen Art" (perch fillets baked with herbs and butter). The dessert was a classic meringue with strawberry and vanilla icecream.Prices are at standard Swiss levels.

Landgasthof Halbinsel Au Austrasse 59 8804 Au ZH
The place is beautiful, the terrace is breathtaking. The food is OK, only OK and just OK. The winelist is small and ultra expensive. The staff is friendly but not charming at all.We had game and the jugged venison was as dry as dried bread, the Spaetzle were also pre-cooked and already dry. The fish was good. All togehter you could make more out of this place. Make it cooler and modern, in cooking and also with a nice table top, modern menu, affordable wine prices, normal soft drink prices....Just do it and you will double your revenue!

Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great food as well, traditional Swiss and Italian. Good for families.

Lunch prices are about the same all over Switzerland but when we are a little away from popular tourist areas, the restaurants start to offer "extras". At the Sonnenhof we were delighted that soup and salad were included. The soup was seasonal chestnut soup and it was delicious. The service was friendly yet polite. Outside seating meant we had to endure some cigarette smoke from nearby tables. This is something that Swiss restaurants still have to come to terms with. All in all, it was worth the short climb uphill from the railroad station and we are happy to have stumbled upon this!

At half an hour from Zurich, you expect arriving on a place that was worse the trip! And you are definitely not disappointed!A great place, very nice terrace, tables with spectacular view on the lac, friendly service, good food.

I love the Löwen, have been coming here for years. During the summer months they open a temporary restaurant, across the road, right on the lake shore. Menu is as fabulous as its always been, huge portions, lovely drinks and always friendly service. Nice casual place, try and visit during the summer under the lovely trees for a nice after work holiday feeling.

...the staff managed to leave the impression that they are not interested to deliver a friendly service. We all have now and then an off day. But 3 times in a row when we visited the terrace for a drink is a clear sign. It must be said service is quick and efficient. But that is not enough to get a higher rating.

Wonderful place for dinner. In the Spring and Summer the terrace is just the perfect spot. The food was perfectly prepared. Prawns for a starter, sole for main and the most amazing creme Brule, top with Pineapple and out of this world, white Toblerone mousse. Service was just as good. Dear Deborah CMany thanks for taking time to leave a positive comment on Tripadvisor. We are very pleased that we could convince you of us and our quality of products. We are looking forward to your next visist.Yours sincerely,Family Kaiser & Hirschen-Team

Destination restaurant: The food is evolving from solid standards to updated modes with pretty plating. Service is efficient and charming. Lovely historical house that can be too warm in the summer. Too quiet ( yes it can be) perhaps some background music ( classical or old pop?). Out of the way but worth the trip.

Enjoy our contemporary attitude across the street from Zürichâs opera house, where seasonal and local products are used as a matter of course. Executive chef David Krüger gathers herbs, berries or mushrooms on a regular basis in nearby nature reserves and
