Located in the center of Trogir on the promenade, this nice location will make you enjoy the view and also delicious modern mediterranean and croatian food..Welcome!
We went twice to this restaurant, once for a smashing seafood dinner and later for breakfast with a large group; each time a happy experience. As with the other restaurants piling the waterfront here, it was fun to watch the passersby and soak up the atmosphere, particularly under the large umbrellas which provided shade from the August heat. Worth mentioning also was that we had excellent friendly service from the waiters, Vedran and Bosko.

We arrived in Trogir late in the evening, and found that many of the restaurants were already closing, but ALKA welcomed us, thankfully.. The table was beautifully presented, and staff were polite. I had the best risotto of my life, I'm not kidding, it was divine!! The black risotto also was the best we had in Croatia, sensational!!Such a wonderful evening - would definitely recommend this amazing place.

Restaurant Vanjaka is a respectable member of the Trogir gastronomic family. It is situated on the Radovan Square, in the east part of the town, right by the Saint Lawrence cathedral. Classy, sacral and aristocratic architectural surroundings have set the
Listed as vegetarian / vegan friendly. I'm afraid it is not. On a positive note, my grilled bream was very good, as was my fig dessert with pannacotta. One of my two vegetarian companions had the risotto, this was ok. The other vegetarian generally avoids the usual boring pasta / risotto / pizza margarita routine, and finds most places can do grilled vegetables well - not a lot to ask, but this place failed - a bland, meagre sub-starter portion was provided, her accompanying salad was ok.The service was a bit too casual - late afternoon, the place was quiet.I see the restaurant responded to previous similar criticism by saying only 5 of their 50 dishes are meat - I checked - this is not true, even if you exclude the fish and seafood; and vegetarians don't eat fish / seafood. So, not at all a good destination for vegetarians, but probably pretty good otherwise.

Tasty food Top service Best price
Visited this restaurant last night which is situated on the campsite and would recommend it to others. The pizza was good and so was the mixed meat dish, which included a chicken skewer, pork chop, burger, sausage and chips with a garnish. It was very reasonably priced and good quality.
All that you can want..extra good food..extra good staff...extra good interier ans exterier...higly recomended...Hvala svima i osoblju od srca....
Split isnât as expensive as Dubrovnik depending on your location of course but venture into the labyrinth of lanes and youâll find Drama. Cheap cocktails but quite rowdy at night

We visited twice as part of a flotilla holiday. Our first visit was organised as a breakfast briefing for our flotilla group (hot & cold buffet-great range and delicious) and we chose to go again on our last night. Beautiful pulled pork pizza, big lemony tuna steaks with skinny chips. Service was a bit muddled (starters brought some time apart, & mains delivered while still eating starters) . They seemed to bring same foods to multiple tables (eg all burgers) rather than ensuring customers on a table got their food at the same time). Anyhow it was great food, just busy!
Where to eat European food in Marina: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Like some other reviewers we found that we were rudely ignored when we arrived at this restaurant in Agana Marina. We were at the beginning of a weeks sailing holiday and just went elsewhere. However on the last night of our holiday we went back because it was handy, being in the marina. Again we were ignored for a while but then, as the restaurant was half empty, we were given a table. Our order was taken fairly quickly and we received our drinks. We then waited an hour with no apology or explanation. Only 4 or 5 other tables were taken. Eventually we asked where our food was and was told it would be one minute. Ten minutes later we told them that we would wait ten more minutes and then we would pay for the drinks and leave. The food then arrived and it was excellent!! Obviously a very good chef, but an evening spoilt by bad management. I wouldnât recommend La Barca and wonât be going back.
