Wenn mal richtig Lust auf Schnitzel mit Pommes mit Salat hat, dann ist man hier an der richtigen Adresse! Ansonsten nette Szenekneipe ohne kulinarischen Anspruch aber mit Biergarten!

Ate here recently with my friends, Lovely setting in the centre of a small town.Service was good, Food very good.Sat outside under a huge umbrella, Slight problem with a small step, Which is difficult to judge, Customer had a bad fall whilst we were there, Something that the Restaurant needs to address.

Restaurant is located on the banks of the Rhine River, not far from the Benrath Palace, in case you wish to spend a day riding bicycle and combine it with delicious, romantic dinner. The restaurant is decorated resembling its fishery background (as the name suggests). We had goat cheese wrapped in puff pastry with orange coulis for starters, fishes for main (Dorade, Sole), and tankabean creme broule with rose bud sorbet and fresh fruits. All were fantastic! The fish was fresh, not frozen, something extraordinary for Dusseldorf. We were lucky with the weather as had it rained, we would not have found an empty table inside. Reservation recommended!

This was a lovely little find. The view from the street is extremely charming and the only downside to the restaurant was being seated in a modern room. My wife had the goose confit with potato dumplings, red cabbage with cherries, baked stuffed apple. A wonderful dish. The red wine was paired exceptionally well.I had the pork cutlets, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Excellent as well. The wait staff spoke English well and walked us through an all German menu, answering all the questions they could. The day ended with a delicious Raspberry Crumble. Would definitely go again!!

Having consulted TripAdvisor (again) my overseas business guest and I decided to try out the restaurant Zum Claashäuschen one Tuesday evening. Even though I have lived in Leverkusen for many years I have never been here before and I was very favourably impressed. Having parked in the extensive free car park we walked into the main part of the restaurant and were greeted by a friendly young man who installed us at a table close to the window. He brought over the blackboard displaying the âtodayâs specialsâ and took our drinks order. I had a ginger based Prosecco type drink which was suitably refreshing and cool natural mineral water. For starters I went for the antipasta and my guest chose the salmon on potato âreibkuchenâ (fritters or pancakes). Both went down well. For the main course I couldnât resist the veal liver on a bed of mashed potatoes while my guest decided to try the vegetarian quiche. Again, both dishes were nicely presented and delicious. I ordered a quarter litre of house red Rioja wine with the liver which was a perfect accompaniment. We passed on a dessert although we both had an espresso and I took a tiny, mini panna cotta on the side. Finally we were offered a digestif to complete the meal â I took an Obstbrand. Service throughout was quick and efficient. Both young gentlemen who served us made us feel very welcome and I know that Iâll be back again soon.

Our first meal after arriving in Germany after a long flight, we went next door to our hotel to this regional fare restaurant. I didn't feel like eating much, so I had chicken soup. My husband had the full monty, a nice Schnitzel and then some and, of course, a couple of wonderful beers. We were both satisfied with our choices, although, as often times, I found the soup a bit too salty.

Located on a main road with parking space. The restaurant is very clean. The waitresses wear nice clothes. Tables, decoration, paintings, heads of animals, ... give the restaurant an special romantic look. Menus in english are available. Waitresses speak limited English (do not ask complicated stuff). The menu is typically German with some French and Italian touches.Portions are good (size-wise) and well served. I went for some beef + dessert + white beer. I was more than satisfied with the food. I really recommend this place.

Ratskeller is a quaint little spot with great atmosphere right in the middle of town. Dinner and lunch is ALWAYS excellent. My favorite while I stay i town, is their sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and sausage. At 5.20 euro it is a great deal, incredible flavors, and large portions. If you are there during Christmas, they have deserts for the sweet tooth in your family, represented by the photo. Stunningly Bavarian⦠incredibly home.
