A very well located hotel in the city center, at the edge of the pedestrian zone, away from street noise. Rooms are simply furnished but with everything needed to feel better. A place where you can feel better.

The hotel is centrally located in Kitzingen, has it's own parking lot and is very close to a gas station and it is walking distance from the city center. The service is very friendly. The food is exceptional.

Set in the centre of Marktbreit - sitting outside you can see the church-tower and one of the oldest hotels in Bayern. Excellent wine card, delicious lunch, good beer. And of course the manager (Ramona) provides both friendly service and recommendations. We didn't have desert but the coffee is really good.

Saw this Gasthaus recommended in a wine book, so took the detour. I was definetely worth it. I arrived on a sunday for lunch and had to share a big table as it was almost full of locals having their sunday lunch. Looked like most of them had the fish. I was not super hungry so had a local soup and a local sausage with sauerkrat and then one of the local wines and everything was phenomenal. Would have like to try to go all in but must be next time I'm in the area.

We are not the only people that think this is the best food in Germany. We have spoken with many visitors here and they all agree. The menu is hand written and is always changing for a culinary surprise each visit. They pride themselves on organic and local products. It's always full even at lunch so reservations are a good idea. It's not expensive and you won't go away hungry.

We sat in the lovely garden in the back for an early dinner. They whipped up a dish for our toddler which he seemed to enjoy. The service was quite friendly and efficient. The chocolate ravioli I had for dessert was underwhelming but the rest of the dining experience was very good indeed and highly recommended.

We made a hike from Iphofen train station along the Traumrunde to Birklingen, where we had a nice lunch at this bright restaurant. Service was excellent, and the food prepared thoughtfully, with many options that also include typical Franconian fare. Reservations on weekends recommended.

We have eaten at the Zehntkeller several times over the years, but not recently. My memory was of an upscale restaurant with good food. The interior and exterior certainly convey that message. The menu certainly looks upscale too. We wanted a light lunch and selected the Bärlauch soup, a Poulardenbrust and a Filetspitzen. To drink, we had a water and a beer. The restaurant was crowded and service was a bit slow. In the mean time, we watched as other tables were served. At each table, at least one meal came with a silver-looking covered. There seemed to be no reason for which dish got the cover. At our table, the cover was on my wife's chicken. As for the food, the dark bread was excellent, but the white was rather ordinary. The soup was good, but my wife's chicken was rather ordinary, Her potatoes were nicely cooked. My beef was on the tough and over-cooked side and the Spätzle were not good at all.At over 55⬠the meal was substantially overpriced, even considering the silver-clad cover and cloth napkins. I suspect that you can do much better in Iphofen.
