This is the resto next to the gas station, in the vicinity of the Maria Dreichen church . We ordered Schnitzel, Salad with fried crispy strips and braised beef. Everything was okay except that for me the beef could have been softer. The salad was good though. No need to order extra salad plattter as the meats come with their own salad which is quite alot too

If you are on a road trip to "Waldviertel" the Graselwirtin is the perfect stop. Located at the B2 from Vienna shortly before Horn, the Graselwirtin serves you local food at a reasonable price. The service is quick and good.If you want to find something negative, then it might be the size. It is a very big restaurant, so it is not a cozy, personalized place, but a big professional (almost industrialized) location.

I've really never had a bad meal in this town. Of course I didn't go to every eatery but Oppitz is consistently wonderful.

In the centre of Eggenburg, right at the medivial central square, there is the Landgasthaus Zum Seher. It has a new owner since spring 2015 and the place has changed dramatically since then.Zum Seher is definitely the best place to eat in Eggenburg. You have a choice of basic Austrian specialities, and there are always some interesting new creations on the menu. So far I have enjoyed every single meal, and I am picky, as you can tell from my other Reviews...The service is good, possibly because the popularity of this place is not yet at the Level it deserves. So: go there, try it. It is worth it!

We visited this wonderful restaurant on a Monday for lunch. It continues the tradition of excellent dining experiences outside Vienna! Operated by a sister and brother team in what is a remodeled classic gasthaus/wirtshaus, it offers superb and beautifully prepared and presented food of an excellent standard!Offering both gourmet set menus and a super a la carte menu, it is a place we will return to often. To top it all off, the prices are extremely reasonable and the wine prices also.A treasure in a lovely village in Styria!!
