We are delighted to welcome you to our new hotel in the middle of St. Anton's pedestrian zone, conveniently located in close proximity to the litfts, ski school and train station. Combining the best of both traditional and modern, our small but very fine
We were able to book a table for dinner and were greeted when we arrived. Linda (our waitress) immediately offered us drinks and even made a dark 'n' stormy for us despite it not being on the drink menu. She was and amazing waitress for the whole evening making our dinner even better. All the food we had was amazing and in plentiful portion sizes. I honestly don't think you can go wrong at this restaurant the service was amazing and the food was delicious. Would certainly come back here if we were ever in St. Anton again.Thank you for taking the time to rate our restaurant. We would like to thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. Nice that you have felt comfortable with Linda and us. A praise of our guests is the most beautiful award for us. Thanks again for your visit! We look forward to welcome you back soon. Kind regards and all the best to you from St. Anton Family Gohl and your Pete Team

We visited the gasthof zur Traube with a party of five after having read the great Tripadvisor reviews it has earned. All in all were we satisified with the food as such, but rather dissappointed with the portions and more importantly the long waiting times... We were placed in the cellar due to the numerous guests and felt somewhat forgotten down there. Some orders such as the water were more or less forgotten and arrived about an hour to late, making the entire experience rather "ok" than great...
The restaurant is located in the Hotel Birgsauer Hof which is about 10km from Obersdorf in a beautiful mountain valley. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant each night of our three night stay. The food was traditional German fare (very meat-based), well prepared and delicious. The servers in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly and explained the German menu to us. We don't cook with salt, so we found the food a bit salty. Some background music would be a nice addition to the ambiance.

Most romantic birthday dinner ever! Staff so attentive and professional, fine dining with special table décor for celebration and really refined relaxed atmosphere. A must for a beautiful dinner in the evening after a morning on the slopes. Just wonderful.

In our cosy and informal Restaurant you can enjoy Austrian traditional cuisine in a rustic atmosphere
Nice friendly place to eat serving nice food ,but, after ordering lovely goulash soup to start , this promptly arrived around one minute after ordering, then main courses turned up before we had finished soup !! Waitress did not offer to take mains back till we were ready. That's not good service and took the shine off the meal

After a long walk down from the Fellhorn, we found this little gem. Situated slightly above the valley, with a pretty garden and its own trout pond, it has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu offers a good selection, and the service was quick and friendly. I had the Kaiserschmarrn, which was very good, and the portion was big. My partner had a delicious soup. The restaurant is not in Oberstdorf itself, but near the Fellhorn cable car. You can get there by car, so it's also suitable for non-hikers.

We stopped here for lunch during a cold skiing day. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown a table in the cosy and charming restaurant. The menu is truly Austrian and fairly priced. The dishes are served rapidly and the portions are gigantic. The quality is outstanding. Special mention for the garlic soup. I strongly recommend this restaurant for a good traditional meal.

We loved our evening at Riegers. The service was spot on, really friendly and caring. The atmosphere was wonderful. Slightly modern still keeping the rustic charm befitting the town. We shared flammkuchen for entree....we LOVE flammkuchen so relished the chance! Perfectly crisp base, lovely topping, beautifully cooked and light as a feather. Main was venison for me and cooked to perfection with a lovely reduction sauce, perfectly cooked brussel sprouts and chewy parsnip. Seasonal, fresh and delicious. They served the noodles separately and I was happy for that as the dish didn't need it (in my opinion) the portion size was good as is. Portion sizes in Germany seem enormous! My husband had 200gms of rump steak cooked medium rare (you ask for it cooked "English" to get rare to medium rare in this part of Germany!). This dish was a bit of a let down for three simple reasons easy to correct. The steak was unrested so the blood drained onto the plate and mixed with the sauce to make for a pink look, not ideal. The mushroom sauce itself was just bland and needed a good dose of mushroom taste and acidity. The potatoes served with his dish were a bit oily and not very appetising. Just basic errors which I think were the result of a busy kitchen rather than an overall downfall in the cooking as my venison proved they know their stuff out back. So I would absolutely recommend Riegers. The wine list is small and very well priced, the staff really care and it's a great little restaurant we'd return to if we were staying longer.

I was on half-board with the family B&B pension (Alpenruh). The meals were much better than the usual for half-board with real Austrain specialties several nights, and an alternative option for the main course. I felt very welcome, even as a single diner.Beer good too!

Our small restaurant is located on the outskirts of St. Anton. Take a seat in the evening after a day of skiing or hiking in our wood-panelled rooms and a tiled stove and let yourself be tempted by the menu to enjoy delicious Tyrolean specialities and exc
My bf and I stopped by just before 7pm and were able to get seated without a reservation since most were coming in around 8pm. The restaurant is very charming and our waitress was fantastic. We ended up having the fried Camembert salad, Wiener schnitzel and the veal liver dish along with a few drinks, and everything was solid. The waitress also gave us her honest opinion on the menu options when we were deciding between a few items, which we appreciated. They take credit cards which is convenient. And theyâre located in St Jacob which was perfect for us as we were staying nearby.
