We are a couple in our 60s and well traveled. We've stayed across the street at Hotel Garni Wetterstein several times and have thus eaten at Restaurant Cafe Nuss several times, as well. We have only had dinner, not breakfast or lunch, and thus cannot address those. The restaurant has always had good food and service when we've visited and been reasonably price. Good atmosphere. Go and enjoy!!

Sat down, someone cleaned the table but left the dirty ashtray, then eventually returned with a menu. The wait wasnât over though as taking the order was also super slow. Drinks arrived and then the pizzaâs in a decent time. However the staff then disappeared for ages. Food eaten, drinks finished and no sign of staff. Eventually someone appeared to remove the plates. The pizza was good and the Ayinger beer a nice alternative in the area. It is a restaurant though, no drinking without eating appeared to be possible.

VAUN is a great little restaurant outside the Garmisch-Partenkirchen centrum. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and thoughtful. The menu is slim, but what is on there is made well and with fresh ingredients. If youâre in the market for something other than standard German food, this is a must-visit!

Riding up to Eibsee, we passed this place several times. Today we took our bikes and decided to finally stop and have lunch. To think we could have come much earlier! The restaurant menue is well sorted and the dishes can be "downsized" if you're not that hungry. Whatever you order, ask if you can have some slices of their homemade bread - it's excellent. And if the restaurant is any indication, the rooms they rent must be very nice as well. The view alone is worth a stop.

We tried the hamburger, the raclette steak and the Groschtl that consists of 2 friend eggs and potatoes with a selección oficial meat. Everything was good and tasty. The waitress provided with coloring book and pencils for the child's entertainment. Waiting time was good as well as not expensive prices. If you are around, you will probably want to make a visit.

This restaurant checks all the boxes: food is great, the setting is warm and inviting, the service was outstanding, the beer was served quickly, and the price was right. I had the pork medallions, which were served in a roasting pan and surrounded with a large portion of macaroni and cheese, and roasted vegetables. It was drenched in butter, which made eating the entire bowl a challenge. It was delicious, to be sure, but so rich! Highly recommended to those with a big appetite.

Very good authentic German food. Tasty deserts (ice cream and apple rings were great). Friendly and prompt service. Comfortable, relaxed setting â white table cloth, but I would not characterize it as fine dining. Credit cards not accepted.

In a recent stay in Ehrwald we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. It was a fine evening so we were able to sit outside. The service was excellent as was the fare. In short a memorable experience and we can only but endorse the recommendation.

While staying in the Hotel Zugspitze we are here several times. The traditional breakfast was consistently good. Dinner menu somewhat limited although is was off-season. Staff very efficient and by German standards friendly. With so many great places to eat within 5-10 minutes walking distance we would not go out of our way to eat here. But the bar in the hotel is great, with live music and lots of locals in attendance on Thursday nights. Christine in the bar is great--friendly and helpful. We would go out of our way to have a drink here
