The restaurant is nice decorated, the service was also fast and friendly. But the kitchen was not good, for example, we ordered a Bergkaesesuppe and garlic bread, they were not hot and taste bad, even my son didn't like to finish them. Many other restaurants in the town are better and even cheaper.

Despite being a large modern self service restaurant, the atmosphere was welcoming. This did not feel like a motorway service station or school canteen. The price was ok and the food of good quality. Takes Credit cards. Not small and cosy, but a good place for lunch.

Visites during summer season. Very nice looking restaurant. It has Austrian look and feel to it. Food is very decent - good rösti, meal well prepared - and it is reasonably priced. Some local dishes. Mains around 16 - 24 euros, deserts 5 - 9 euros. Staff is quite friendly. Good experience overall: been there twice.

Our first afternoonin Fiss after checking into our hotel and arranging lift passes and equipment but no single slope tackled yet, we ended up in a full blown apres-ski party. Typical ambiance of excited people after a full day on the slopes, lots and lots of beer, mixed drinks and small shots, very loud bombastic music and fun looking at several guests doing crazy thingsAt least one afternoon, a visit is a must.

This is the second time we go to this place, last time was last year. We had salad and Kalbsschnitzel. We also ordered Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. Salad was OK (we ordered it without dressing), but the rest was very disappointing, especially considering the prices. Kalbsschnitzel was too much cooked, dry and too thick. The Kaiserschmarrn was somehow too heavy, felt like it was not freshly made. Besides, and just a minor observation : the waiter asked us if we wanted berries jam or apple mousse to accompany it, and since we hesitated he suggested we take both, but then we realized he charged us 1.70⬠for the jam. Not that we find it expensive, but since he suggested he should have informed us that it would come with an extra cost. Wouldn't go back for food.

The Restaurant Montana is one of the most popular meeting points in the village, not only for guests of our hotel. We donât know whether thatâs due to the excellent cuisine, the stylish-cosy ambiance or the warm service. But probably itâs the combination
My family and I had dinner here once and took pizza home once. The restaurant is nice and modern with nice decorations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. According to the rating this restaurant should be quite good but we were a bit disappointed. The dishes didn't live up to expectations. My pasta dish with crayfish tails were a bit dry and tasteless and the tails were very small and seemed to have come out of a jar. For dessert we ordered Tiramisu which was a bit tasteless. Judging by the review here at TripAdvisor I had expected more.

The Frommes Alm is located at the bottom of the popular Frommes slope. This used to be a nice balance between location, good food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the nice atmosphere is no more. At least not all the time. They now frequently have long periods of loud hardrock of the worst kind. And on the terrace you have 2 different kinds of music played on top of each other. Too bad!

Lovely location at the bottom of the North-Side. Austrian gemuetlich but the usual lunch time rush. Very friendly service. The kitchen serves the usual suspects, heavy food it will ground you if you don't watch yourself. Pick carefully and you will be happy, have the true Austrian specialties like Kaiserschmarren in a real restaurant. Still way better than lets say Two Elks in Vail. Table service, if the sun is out sit outside and soak in the scene.

The Gebhard restaurant is a welcome variation to the usual Austrian restaurants. The service is excellent. The food is well prepared and served with care. Not the 'usual' food but well balanced tasteful dishes prepared with fresh materials. The menu is somewhat restricted with 2 appetizers and 2 soups and a couple of main dishes. There is more variation in the desserts. They are equally nice. They carry a nice selection of wines with great suggestions to match the food, also for wine by the glass. Cost is 70 to 75 euro per person for 3 courses with drinks. Reservations are needed as the have less capacity when the hotel is full.
