A lady from the tourist office recommended this place. My friends and I enjoyed our dinner there. We had the beef stew which was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, our waiter very friendly, translated menu in English. It looked like mostly local people were there. Restaurant was about 10 min from city center.

This restaurant has been refurbished and looks very nice. Also the food is excellent with a large choice for everyone. Extensive wine choice. The tastes are well balanced. A pity it is quite noisy.

Limited choice of mainly local dishes. Food is of good quality, basic taste and average house wines. One waiter, takes long to get your food. Nice setting but misses warmth and creativity on the taste. Prices are quite high, in our opinion you find better food in Ghent for that price. Location is in a quite area in Ghent.

We wish you a warm welcome...
This restaurant is in a nice location in the Patershol area of Ghent. It is a charming historic building. On the evening we visited the front of house was run entirely by one very pleasant lady. The menu is on a chalkboard that is brought to the table and then read to you. My partner and I both found this difficult as we had different memories of what was on the menu.We ended up having the four course menu which was really too much food for us. The food was all excellent in particular the main pheasant course was delightful.

We had heard brilliant things about this Restaurant before travelling to Belgium. We were not disappointed! We received a warm welcome from Sandy and her helpers and were given in depth explanation of the Menu which was written in Flemish & German. We were happy to choose from the special menu for the day and thoroughly enjoyed an excellent meal in these wonderful surroundings. There was some difficulty in arranging the reservation and so had to change our planning slightly to suit the Restaurant. We were happy to do so and very pleased with our evening there. It is well worth the extra effort to get a meal at this lovely place!
