We absolutely loved the place: stunning scenery, the traditional wooden buildings, the quality interiors, the service, atmosphere. What a shame that it was raining and we could not visit Obrovo - the giant's village. Another reason to come back. The food was good, too. This was my most favourite "stop for lunch". Highly recommend (already did to a few people!).

On our way back to Budapest from Katowice we wanted to eat spacial Slovakian food. We found Koliba Likava here on Tripadvisor. The restaurant was just like in the pictures and reviews. Very nice building in the hillside, with a backyard playground and front view on a castle. Cabbage soup and Bryndzove Halusky were both perfect choice. Waiter was really kind.

Really nice food and traditional atmosphere. Highly recommended for the quality of food and the feeling at this restaurant. Unfortunately they seemed short-staffed at our visit, and consequently we waited a long time for our dessert. The waitresses were almost running back and forth between tables and the kitchen working non-stop, hopefully that was a one off incident and not a regular occurrence. The restaurant uses traditional hand-made ceramic crockery, which we actually liked so much we wanted to buy some, however the staff did not know where the plates were made so that wasn't possible.Worth a visit!

There didnât seem to be many choices for somewhere to have something to eat beneath spectacular Orava castle, but the Toliar offers an attractive outdoor terrace with views up to it. We enjoyed a Shopska salad, sauerkraut soup, home-made lemonade and espresso - all for â¬10.80 for two.

This restaurant is located within a sprawling compound that includes many family attractions like live animals, sjops and an interesting tractors' exhibition. The service and quality of food is optimal and very reasonably priced. My stewed lamb was tasty and very well cooked in a tasty gravy. The other main courses enjoyed by our family members were well received too.

Waw, what a find! In beautiful setting of Castel Kubyini you can find one f the best restaurants in our country. Ambiente of restaurant is stunning, very luxury and cosy, but the dishes of Chef Barry are partly pieces of art, partly culinary heaven. And all of this for prices, which we (people from capital Bratislava) can not believe in :-)The menu is short, but sharp. Only fresh and local products evaluated to high gastronomy. Honestly to say, if I did not try it, I can not believe.I wanted to try every thing, so I tried 3 apetizers, stunning mushroom broth, pigeon breasts with lentils and beef tartare another way. I do not know which way, but completely another I used to eat before. As main we had sirloin a la point, with perfect sauce and crockets. As the desert I had rosemary panacota. And now comes the best - Wine list. Generally, in Slovakia owners of restaurant want to ear money on alcohol, rising prices up to 500%. It makes me furious, when someone want to sell me 5 eur soave for 24 eur. I love Italy, and such a thing can not happened over there. Not In Amalia restaurant! Prices are very fair and fits the quality. You can find in wine list mainly Italian wines for very fair prices (believe me, I know what about I am talking)! Well, all of this can not be such amazing, if there were not really very well trained staff behind it. This could be the most important part. Service is simply perfect, all people want to serve you even earlier than you say what you want. All in all, we will for sure return back chef Barry Hartshorne. This restaurant belongs between my most favourite and is HIGLY RECOMMENDED!!!
A pleasant environment and delicious food that is a delight for all the senses, awaits you in the hotel's restaurant. Our chef made A´LA CARTE with the use of seasonal ingredients, connecting their qualities, in order to reach a perfect taste and for you
Im a Big fan of the Hotel Park, but the restaurant did serve some rather boring and flavorless food this evening. From the menu all looks good. But the food is lacking both flavor and bite. And thatâs actually kind of sad.

I have been here a couple of times. The menu is quite small but always interesting and thus far has always been good. The frois gras when on the menu is excellent and it is also well known for it Steak Tartare. A pretty good wine list offers good value on local wines, French imports, in common with everywhere in the eastern bloc remain expensive. The staff are great and the service really good. I have been there with and without my Slovak friends and it has still been good.
