It is unusual: no starter, no main course. Take different small dishes as you like. Try and combine our "SCHNEUGGEREIEN" at your whim. Exactly the right thing for curious connoisseurs, gourmets and everybody who likes good food.
Range of small very well put together dishes produced in order to my request I started with crayfish cannelloni with Casarecce pasta with vegetables followed by entrecôte steak carrot and peas all put together very artistically with excellent ingredients prepared and put together in perfect small dishes. Fresh tasting and full of flavour great idea to have such a tapas like range of dishes but much more refined than tapas

Fine dining & creative specialities In elements the typical everyday can turn into a remarkable dining experience, no matter whether with business partner, good friends or family, our seasonal specialities are sure to tingle your taste buds.
This restaurant is inside Hotel Du Park, but of course you can have a great lunch or dinner even if you are not a guest of this hotel. The restaurant has a pleasant table location (inside and, in summer, also in the nice outside garden/court), with tables which are not too near to each other. The menu has a good choice but, as in the best places, not too many dishes. The personnel is nice. The service might be a little slow if the restaurant is quite full.Dear geoch1, thank you very much for your lovely feedback. It is a pleasure for us to hear that you enjoyed it staying with us in our restaurant elements. We will check your inputs concerning the service seriously and look forward to welcome you soon again in Baden. Kind regards, Alexander Fischer, general manager & team

We wandered in here yesterday looking for lunch. The restaurant was nicely decorated with a penchant for Marilyn Monroe. There was a small menu. I had a very nicely presented chicken salad, my partner had a delicious ravioli of ricotta and quince. We were offered a small free dessert. Service was excellent. We will come here again.

I have eaten at this restaurant on a couple of occasions and was very pleased both times. The restaurant is situated in Baden's old town, about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is located in a plaza, square type setting, right next to another restaurant, which adds to the overall ambiance. There is inside and outside sitting. I sat outside on both visits. The food is not fancy by any means, and tends to be traditionally swiss, with items such as Brats, Roesti, and veal on the menu. The Roesti (grated potatoes, very similar to hash brow in the US, but much tastier) is excellent. The quality of the other items was also excellent. As mentioned, not fancy food, but prepared with care, and very tasty. The wine list offers some wines from the area, which I found very nice. We tried a red wine from the Baden area, a Merlot, and it was very good. The only drawback for those non-German speaking guest, the waitstaff is quite light on English. However, they are very friendly, do not give you attitude about not speaking German, and try their best to communicate with you in their broken English. It added to the fun of the evening. The prices are a bit high, but on par with any restaurant in town.Overall, a very nice place for a tasty meal outside (or inside in inclement weather), with pleasant surroundings, a very nice and attentive staff. I had a great time, and will certainly be back! Enjoy!

The Chef,s are very well known for their good food at reasonable prices. It's a well known place for people with guests from abroad. You can show them nearly the whole City from above. (GE, Alstom, Axpo)Just check the opening hours, the place is not open for 7/week.

We visited this restaurant on a lukewarm evening during the Badenfahrt and enjoyed the quietness and the nice atmosphere in the shadowy garden. The dishes are very nice and tasty (excellent veal liver with hash brownies), the personnel very friendly, the prices are reasonable. Overall a nice experience, we are looking forward to visit again in the winter.

Schloss Schartenfels restaurant situated high on the hills in Wettingen offers fantastic views over the surrounding area and has a warm and friendly ambiance. The food is very good and artfully presented. The service is friendly and profecional. I can highly recommend this reastaurant to anyone who want a great night out.

Nice location and fine atmosphere don't make a good restaurant. Kitchen is somehow original and maybe we selected plates too similar (difference between venisson and pork was difficult to get: both covered with same sauce). We saw a chateubriant which seem interesting, but eat the tapas selectionmenu' as adviiced. What was absolutelz unacceptable is the loooong service: 2hours to get main course and this with a restaurant still half empty and a child with us. Total disorganzation betweeen service and kitchen made the place more pretentious than worth. They did not even had the thought of a discont o say sorry for terrible long service...

We went for a late lunch at 13:15 (we actually closed them down, but they were very understanding about it) and ordered from both the Daily Specials menu and the main dinner menu, no problem. I had the Gambas a la Plancha with a green salad, a beer and a glass of chardonnay. The gambas were really prawns, of course -- I don't think the Spanish let any of their real gambas out of the country (I don't blame them) -- but fairly authentically prepared; the salad was ordinary for Switzerland, which means excellent by North American standards. Others had everything from BBQ spare ribs to several vegetarian dishes. All good, from their reports. This cozy little place is adjacent to the Bahnhof, so easy to enjoy for travelers. It helps if you understand German, but they will speak English cheerfully if you wish. It's medium-expensive by Swiss standards, which means "fine dining" prices for us Yanks & Canucks. They do take credit cards, which is not guaranteed everywhere in Switzerland.

This would not fall into being considered your typical Swiss or German influenced restaurant, it has a very relaxed atmosphere combined with a good menu and fine food. I would highly recommend reserving a table, we were fortunate to be squeezed in but it's clear this is a very popular choice amongst the locals.
