My wife and I stayed at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Bad Reichenhall and on the first night ate here at the Axel Stubert restaurant, the food was exquisite. It was our Wedding Anniversary and the service was excellent. The steak I had was served with a wild garlic dressing, the garlic having been handpicked locally. After this particular dinner we chose to eat here a couple more nights and each time the food was excellent, would highly recommend it.

This was one of our first stops on the "mall" after hours of shopping and enjoying the German experience. Our party had a mixture of lunch foods and dessert pastries. Service was on par with any of the Cafe' we visited on our vacation.

Simply the best restaurant in the city - it is situated near to Stadt Kultur Centrum and before the show handsome old ladies and gentlemen sit and drink champaigne ))) We ate there several times - nice food, service and wine too!

We often use the Kammerer Brau when in Bad Reichenhall. We really enjoy the food. The only reason I have not rated this as excellent is that there is often only one member of staff serving and whilst they are very good you can often have to wait a while to be served

Visiting Bad Reichenhall and its lovely local mountain Predigstuhl, we thought we'd missed out the chance of again staying in the Gasthof Burgerbrau as I couldn't book it through Booking.com. A quick email to the hotel, and we were in! Again I was stunned by this lovely place. The staff as ever were friendly ( no Brexit here ) and helpful, the rooms spacious and super-clean and the location virtually unbeatable. This year we took two friends who were new to lovely Bavaria, including one who had never 'enjoyed' Germany but this trip did the trick; she loved this hotel as much as I did - this is my 4th stay - and it coloured her visit to Southern Germany positively. We're back from our trip now and I miss this gorgeous building, and it's caring staff. If you're ever visiting the gorgeous Bad Reichenhall - and scruffy UK towns have a lot to learn here - you'd do far worse than stay at the Burgerbrau, a jewel in the crown of this lovely town.
