The steak (churrasco) we ordered at La Campana was wonderfully tender and well seasoned. Absolutely delicious. We also wanted fajitas and, although they weren't on the menu, the cook prepared a fantastic fajita dinner. Again, the meat was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. Our waiter was friendly. The service was fast. The food was memorable. The place was clean. It was a great night.

This is by far the best "Fritanga" in Managua serving up simple but good classic Nicaraguan food like Gallo Pinto, tajada, queso frito, and grilled kabobs. The fresh made Mandarin orange juice tasted like what you want....real Mandarins!!!Also, the atmosphere was very authentic. If your looking for a place that is going to give you the real Nicaraguan experience, where locals go with family and friends for great food at great prices, this is it.

After a week-long mission on Ometepe, our group was looking for a place to have our last meal before flying out from Managua the next morning. Our driver suggested La Finca, saying it was his favorite place to eat. We were seated upstairs and the breeze was nice on the open-air patio. We started with a tiny cup of beef consumme and then ordered drinks. The food ranged from a vegetarian option to seafood, beef and chicken. Each person in our group of seven ordered something different and everyone was pleased. I had the grilled shrimp with garlic and my husband had the grilled lobster with garlic. Others enjoyed the veg plate and the chicken brochettes. The side dish of veggies were freshly cooked as well. We shared cheesecake for dessert and enjoyed every bite. I believe we will return to La Finca. It offers good food, good service and a reasonable price.Thank you so much for your review. There are two locations in Managua. It is a restaurant specially for Nicaraguan steak dishes âchurrascoâ. Decoration, furnishings, tables, everything well set. Well dressed waiters and well trained. Medium range prices, about $12 for a main dish. This is the ideal place for people who like to have a good steak in Nicaragua. Recommended.

This is a gem of a restaurant starting with its outdoor seating area on a corner. The outdoor seating area is spacious and has a breeze that blows thoughout the area keeping the space cool! We were quickly seated and asked for our drink order which was brought out quickly along with a complimentary salad. We all ordered the "Puyazo Campestre". The meat comes with an accompaniment of "gallo pinto" which is a native Nicaraguan dish consisting of rice and beans, and potatoes of your choice - grilled or french fried - or plaintains. The meat was tender and cooked as requested and the "gallo pinto" was one of the best I have tried! I will revisit this restaurant again to try the other offerings on the menu.

We had a good time having Nicaraguan Food coming back from visiting the Masaya Volcano (an amazing experience since the volcano is currently active). The Quesillo was great, and the Cacao drink was also great. A lot of locals really like this restaurant because of its location, even though is a bit expensive compared to other "Nicaraguan Food" places.

I lived in Nicaragua many years ago and always went to La Cocina de Doña Haydée. It was so nice to return after 15 years and taste the delicious food. The ambiance was really nice with live guitar playing and singing local Nicaraguan songs. Waiters and singers were, as always, very polite.Try the quesillo, repochetas, queso frito and the sampler plate to taste almost everything.

This is my second visit to Nicaragua and my trip would not be complete without dining several times at Porterhouse! I have dined at many restaurants throughout the world and this is at the top of my list!! Along with local favorites this restaurant offers food items that are not commonly found in other Nicaraguan restaurants! The wait staff is very attentive taking care of your every need and the ambiance is very romantic! Trust me you will not be disappointed!
