This small restaurant on an unassuming corner had the most amazing food. It had been recommended by a Barcelona local in Brisbane, Australia and certainly did not disappoint. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating of English speakers. The food was fresh and beautifully presented and was the best we found on our 9 week trip. So much so that we went back a second time.

I got told it was good - otherwise I wouldnât have given it a second look as itâs not very inviting. They were so right, the food is very good, prices are ok, service was fast and friendly -> definitely a âyesâ

We discovered this place based on TA reviews and this is second time we have eaten here and we have not been disappointed! Aitor Xavir, Xavi and Helga were all wonderful! We reached the restaurant about an hour before they started serving dinner, but the staff and owner (?) were very kind that they seated us at the bar and offered us some jelly candy while promising to start serving at 8pm sharp. We were recommended the red prawns and cockles, both were very fresh and perfectly cooked, naturally sweet and juicy, we also ordered toast with foie gras which literally melted in your mouth, the oysters with bloody mary shooter were so good we ordered another plate! The staff was very attentive and friendly, he helped us to call a taxi and also accompanied us to the taxi. It was a great dinner for our last day in Spain! I would definitely love to go back one day! Thank you guys for the wonderful night!

We visited Barcelona this summer, and chose the Picknick Premium after visiting Park Guell. Good quality food, at obvious a wonderful location. I liked the fact that PICNICBCN uses recyclable material. The food was of good quality, the bread was from that morning, and the Jason was how Jamon should be. Went here for a business lunch and had the best meal of my entire trip to Barcelona this time. Excellent service - the waiter recited the entire menu in English - that was attentive without being _too_ attentive.It's only a fixed-price menu with a good choice of starters and mains. I opted for potato soup as a starter and entrecote for the main, both of which were amazing. Top it off with a small slice of lemon tart and you have the perfect meal. Definitely go there if you're in the area.
