Another find in Torreilles. Only one choice ensuring it was fresh and of top quality. Served in a beautiful garden by friendly staff.

This is a funky little café, with inside and outside seating. It is a stone's throw from tourist information. Food is innovative and tasty, but serves are on the smaller side. The meatball based cassoulet was very tasty, but my wife's beef stew was very strong in flavour ( a tad over powering). Both of us would have liked slightly bigger serves. All that said, this is a cut above the average similar street café in Perpignan for sure - we really liked it.

There was a flyer on our car when we finished at the Fortresse, so we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! One of the best value meals for money we've had since being in France. The restaurant is set a little back from the road and has both inside seating and a shady small terrace. We chose the terrace and the waiter was friendly and welcoming. I chose the mussels gratinees and they were generous and delicious - almost a meal in themselves. I'd ordered prawns for the main and they were huuuge. And fresh and yummy. Excellent! Plenty of parking, reasonable loo.Merci beaucoup pour votre avis, nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié ce moment dans notre restaurant, a bientôt !

Passing by, if you didn't know better, you'd be expecting unremarkable Catalan tourist fare. You'd be wrong: Pa Amb Tomate offers *remarkably good* Catalan fare, in generous quantities, served with warmth and attentiveness.Plateau of Jamon Pata Negra Bellota with Manchego Cheese was a delicious as it was huge. The special Pa Amb Tomate Patatas Bravas were unusual and excitingly tasty. Truite (a catalan tortilla) with Soubressade was savoury and light. The wine list was comprehensive and, like the food, very reasonably priced. The patron's advice, pairing a fine Figueres red with our order, was beyond reproach. We rather over-ordered (we'd underestimated the generosity of the dishes in comparison to other tapas places), and were calmly prepared a take-out without fuss. Will definitely be going back ('Xupa Xups de Xai', I'm looking at you), and would heartily recommend it to any fans of tapas, charcuterie, and/or good Catalan fare.

2 steps from Castillet, in the historic center of Perpignan. Pedestrian street, pleasant for children and families. Beautiful sunny terraces in summer to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine reinvented by the owners of the place. The motto: fresh produce, seasonin
We had dinner here yesterday. Service was relaxed and super friendly. Everything we had was fantastic and the mussels with parsley a particular highlight. The owner was very friendly and we would recommend highly.

Popped in here for a lunchtime bite. Place was just filling up with locals. Having had a great meal here can see why they come. My wife had roasted camembert with very tasty roasted potatoes and toasted bread alongside a salad. I had a marvelous chicken and bacon risotto. Best one I have ever had. 2 glasses of Affligem and 2 wines. Came to 50 euro. Impeccable service and great chef. We will be back.

Our restaurant welcomes you in this XVIIIth century building belonging to the the De La Fabrègue family for 6 generations. We offer you the wines of our estate at the prices of the cellar shop to pair with a generous and elegant catalan cuisine.
A really nice restaurant 10 minutes walk from the centre of the town. The service was excellent and of the highest standard. We started with snails grilled over vine wood marinated in honey and raisins. 40 snails each. They were delicious. Then we had grilled duck. The sauce was fantastic and duck cooked perfectly. To finish my wife had the most original of ice creams, lavender, rosemary and thyme. I had lemon sorbet doused in Marc. All this plus a bottle of wine and change from â¬100!

Ideal spot for lunch in the Perpignan area. Value for money is completely off the scale. Entree and main for â¬15 seems incredibly reasonable for the high quality, freshly prepared food we enjoyed. One starter, a beautifully baked slice of Brie, with a crisp, thinly breaded exterior, on a salad that can only be described as perfect, was the best starter we've seen anywhere this trip. Main courses involved perfectly cooked duck and chicken, also memorable.Wines by the glass are also very good value and feature the best of the local Roussillon reds and whites. And very good they are too. We had crisp, flowery whites and spicy, fruity reds, all at â¬4-â¬6 a glass, once again, very reasonable.Definitely worth seeking out.
