We ate in the main dining area which is large, airy and stunning (there is an outside eating area and a more casual indoor dining space with an alternative menu available)Despite the rather grand surroundings the staff are friendly and the prices are no more expensive that other mid-range places.Off to a fine start with House Bread accompanied by tangy olives and aioli. We each ordered a starter - Courgette Fritters (a bit bland and disappointing) and Goats Cheese Salad (superb and the best I had during my holiday with a fab mix of leaves, fruits, nuts, generous portion of cheese and zesty dressing) Mains of Suckling Pig (tasty and tender but nothing extraordinary according to OH) and Chargrilled Chicken (very tasty and tender but far, far too much for one person) House red very tasty and reasonably priced - but you wouldn't expect such a classy establishment to serve poor house wine.At under 70 euros inc tip we felt we had 'gone a bit upmarket' without breaking the bank.So we decided to return a few nights later - I had decided that Goats Cheese Salad would be my main course as it was so good the previous time.We decided to share a starter knowing that portion sizes are generous and Tuna Chunks with Tomatoes suited us both - what a great choice. Chargrilled fresh tuna in sizeable pieces (nothing from a tin here!) sat on top of a huge leafy salad with a superb dressing and plenty of ripe juicy tomatoes. My repeated GC salad did not disappoint. Cod with Saffron Sauce served with potatoes and vegetables also proved a hit on the other side of the table.Again good quality, nicely presented, tasty food along with fruity red wine in a stunning environment for under 70 euros is excellent value. We left suitably full with a recommendation from our waiter to go immediately along to Placa des Borns where a free concert was taking place - Punk Floyd tribute (The Other Side) accompanied by the Municipal Band of Menorca. Brilliant evening all round!

We recently visited this restaurant after recommendations from trip advisor and local staff at our hotel. We found the food very disappointing after having sampled other local places. We even challenged that the food we were served was not what we had ordered but were assured that it was correct. We did not return.

Having eaten here for many years, on our many visits to Galdana, this still remains our favourite. Food here is always excellent, as is the service and did not disappoint this year. The staff are lovely, very helpful and Jessica welcomed us like family. My husband always recommends the shoulder of lamb here! Definitely worth a visit!

This is a lovely little restaurant located on the quieter end of the marina. Run by husband and wife team along with chef. Ate here 3 times. Preferred the tapas menu and had some delicious dishes. All presented beautifully. Loved the goats cheese salad. Octopus, prawns and grilled baby squid also deserve a mention. Great place to enjoy a cold jug of very nice sangria. Received a warm welcome on the first visit which got warmer each time we called in. The level of restaurants round the marina are much of the same and we were disappointed at some of the supposedly top rated places. But the classic is a notch above the rest. Especially if itâs tapas youâre after. Lots of repeat customers whilst there which says a lot.

Really great evening. Great atmosphere, great service and great food we had the Chateaubriand, where you finish cooking the meat yourself to your own taste. It was amazing. It came with three tasty sauces, potatoes and vegetables fit well to it. I can see why its rated so highly, A must visit..

This harbour side venue served the most amazing lunchWe shared a series of salads- the aroma and flavour of the baby aubergines were some of the best we have had the good fortune to savour anywhere, the tuna and tomato salad and other dishes were equally delicious.Always trust staff wearing clean, smart aprons!!Well worth seeking out
