Nestled between the Mediterranean coast and the colossal Montserrat, Barcelona's deep historical roots stretch through the ruins dotting the city and the local culture and Catalan language. Due to good ratings at TA we have visited this restaurant. Thanks God I have done a reservation because upon arrival it was already fully booked.Fast we received the menu. No specials of the day are offered. So we ordered prawns and veggie roll with sweet chilli sauce, Tuna tartar, and suckling pig. All was prepared very well. The bottle of red wine, Bastion de la Luna, was of average taste and quality. Finally we got invited for a drink of the house.I can recommend this restaurant. My subjective rating: Ambiance: 3-4 pointsService: 3-4 pointsPrice and value for money: 3 pointsQuality and preparation of meals: 4 pointsPresentation of meals: 4 pointsCredit cards are accepted.

Quite possibly the smallest restaurant we've ever been too but the food was amazing!! When we arrived there was already a queue but we ordered a sangria to sip on while we waited roughly 20min for a table. We opted for the surprise menu option 2 for â¬40 for 2 people which was an appetizer and meat/cheese board followed by 8 tapas chosen by our lovely waitress. Before she brought our food out she took the time to ask what we didnt like (bread for us) so this wasnt included in any of the choices. All 8 dishes were spectacular and soooooo filling! The sangria at â¬3.50 a glass and rioja at â¬3 went down incredibly well.To finish it all off, Oliver (the loveliest man you'll meet) brought us a shot of Catalan crema (basically baileys but better!) We loved it so much he brought us another shot each.Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience and finished off our trip to Barcelona

Blavis is a small gastronomic corner where we propose to share tapas and platillos. On our board you will find tasty cuisine, elaborated with love and influenced by diverse cultures. We also offer you a selection of local wines to accompany the whole expe
This was a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing - they walked through the entire menu, made recommendations, discussed the wine options, and just made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The place is very small - definitely make a reservation and try to align to the Spanish timings, much livelier at 9PM vs. 7PM. We saw many people turned away for the evening due to it being fully booked. Highly recommend trying any of the specials - change frequently - and the red wine from Mencia. Our favorites were the Cocninita Pibil and the Tuna Tartare. Entire meal was quite affordable, including a bottle of wine and espresso to close. Amazing night out!

Jobs was recommended to us by Jason from Rao restaurant after we had enjoyed a great meal there. We were equally impressed by Jobs. The sharing plates have beautiful fresh flavours served in an elegant setting with informative service. An excellent example of Barcelona's contemporary food scene. Thanks a lot for visiting and for the review. It makes us so happy and proud to make our costumers happy.

Delicious food that was beautifully presented (not that it mattered but was a nice touch), friendly and accommodating staff, lovely drinks. They donât allow you to have tap water though the water is fine to drink but that wasnât enough to spoil the rest of the great experience here. So good we returned the next evening. Donât let the small menu put you off. Itâs just a small choice, cooked perfectly.

Small antique contemporary and timeless tapas bar using our produce from our farms in Palamos (Catalonia) with a Japanese edge. Travel through time when visiting through the narrow streets of Barcelona Cathedral and Plaça de Sant Felip Neri where you will
This was fabulous. I've been disappointed so many times at booking highly rated restaurants that haven't lived up to expectation but this was superb. This is small and the whole place is looked after by one fabulous server who explains all the food in great detail. She also took time to try and find me Spanish wines I enjoyed after listening so carefully to my description of what I liked. We ate the best food and drank the best wine of our holiday and we ate in some really nice places. Slightly difficult to find - give yourself an extra 10 minutes! Do try the patas bravas. They were so good, and different, we had two portions!

Tapas restaurant placed in Sant Antoni area of Barcelona. Restaurant with an open kitchen, high tables and terrace. *We don´t accept bookings, you just need to come and ask for a table at the entrance.
This small restaurant on an unassuming corner had the most amazing food. It had been recommended by a Barcelona local in Brisbane, Australia and certainly did not disappoint. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating of English speakers. The food was fresh and beautifully presented and was the best we found on our 9 week trip. So much so that we went back a second time.

Holidays from 14th of April until 4th of May. Catalan cuisine madre with organic and localy-grown products. We emphasise on the "Mar i Muntanya" (sea and mountain) concept by developing a haut-cuisine menu that is served in an informal and welcoming atmos
Went for lunch had to book ten days in advance which we were give a place at the bar.Starters were great especially the crowqetas and the organic tomatoes salad. The other dishes like the quails was too salty which the waiter agreed to.In general food was ok but the place was quite dirty especially the bar where you see cleaning liquids mixed with wine bottles and worst to see the bar man mixing old wine bottles into each other to serve to customers.I would not visit again and all the hype is not worth it.

Oliver was our host and recommended fantastic dish! Loved the experience, very different to the other restaurants as there are no menus. The food was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was also wonderful. We were lucky we like to eat early so there was not many queue when we arrived around 7pm, otherwise the wait can be long as the space is small. A must in Barcelona!!

CentOnze Restaurant - a place that invites discovery of the unexpected and a mix of reinterpreted local flavours. A gastronomic gallery to enjoy seasonal products delivered directly from la BoquerÃa Market. Colours and aromas of our Tapas & Platillos, sha
We were two couples that dined here for dinner. The atmosphere was very pleasant & the seating quite comfortable. Unlike other nearby places, it did not have a loud bar atmosphere. We all ordered something different for dinner and everything was very good, made with fresh ingredients and served hot. We even attempted to return the next evening for dinner to try other dishes but it was fully booked. And the only reason we did not give this a 5* is because our waiter was grumpy & didn't appear to like 'tourists'.Dear MisssFit,Thank you very much for choosing CentOnze Restaurant and for taking the time to share your valuable opinion with us. We are delighted to read that you had such a great overall experience and that our quality and facilities met your expectations. However, I am disappointed to see your comments about our associates. Please rest assured this is not indicative of our usual high standards of service and we will be investigating this situation further. It is great to know that you enjoyed the atmosphere of CentOnze Restaurant. Despite being in the most vibrant street of the city, guests can enjoy a tranquil evening enjoying the view. We are also proud you liked all of your food choices. Our Chef Luis R. and his team combine local and international dishes basing his cuisine on slow food technique in order to provide a unique experience to our guests. As you noted, they source the fresh ingredients directly from La BoquerÃa Market, just a few steps from the hotel.Once again, thank you very much for choosing CentOnze restaurant and for sharing your feedback with us, we hope to welcome you back again very soon.Kind regards,CentOnze Management team
