This place is good for lunch, I have never been there for dinner. Service is a little slow but they have lunch specials until 3:00 pm. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant but there is enough parking close by.Churrascos are good and the presentation of the food is very nice. Pork is also very good.
A spacious setting with a bar in front left and afterwards a band platform and dancing area in the middle and in the rear a remarkable wall-size photo of the city, if I recall, of Firenze along the Arno River and bordered on side walls with unexpected copies of paintings, several famous ones being of the Renaissance era. The owner must have Tuscan roots and this was no simple copy of an Italian restaurant. The tables were well-spaced and of a unique natural design. From the Comfort Inn, the restaurant is a quick drive away or about a 1.5 km. walk along the beach area and then down to the Blvd. and then left.It was early in the afternoon that Sunday and with no other diners entering, my younger family members were only interested in just an elaborate pizza which was OK because they didn't want to overeat due to other pending activities for my birthday and a doggie-bag might do for leftovers. I couldn't help noticing that the menu listed several offerings of my favorite but rare gnocchi, a typical dish in my father's far northeast region, and even sumptuous Sicilian cannoli pastry, which I last ate in NY's Little Italy. I'll have to return in the future to try out the gnocchi and its sauces but without the band present.
The food was very good. Ample servings. The staff was very helpful (the menue was only in Spanish and they were very helpful to us English only speaking people).
I went to this restaurant for the first time while driving to visit some family members. My husband and I were curious since we had never heard from this place before. It is very quaint very typical Puerto Rico. Once you go in the location you are greeted by the bartender and was seated by the head waiter. I ordered their Churrasco with arroz congri and my husband ordered the mofongo stuffed with churrasco and chicken in garlic sauce. All I can say is OMG!! It was delicious. I could not stop tasting my husbands food and he did not want to share but the same with mine. The prices are very good but the food is even better. If you are ever in Toa Baja you need to stop there. I believe on fridays or saturdays they have live music there. it is Amazing
Millie's Place is known for its crabs, and that's what people come here to eat. They will prepare you and your table for a crab-cracking festival- aluminum foil as placemats, aluminum foil-covered boards to crack open your crabs, wooden sticks to crack and pry, and even aprons to keep your clothes clean. I have eaten here with my family for many years and they have always been true to their motto: "nuestra especialidad son los jueyes" (our specialty is land crabs). You can order boiled crabs, "arroz con jueyes" (rice with crab meat) and "salmorejo de jueyes" (land crabmeat stew). Tostones (mashed plantains) with the salmorejo is a local favorite in Puerto Rico. For those who cannot eat or who wish not to eat crabs, they have several non-seafood options. For example, today they had "carne guisada" (beef stew) and "bistec encebollado" (steak with onions), both of which go well with rice and beans, and "tostones". To finish your meal, I recommend you try one of their "flanes" (custards): vanilla, cheese and coconut. Finding the restaurant can be tricky if you have not been there before, but you should have no problem with a smartphone on hand, or just asking locals for directions. The restaurant is right next to the baseball stadium in Sabana Seca, about a five minute drive after taking the exit from the freeway.
Fresh fish, varieties and good service, need a little more work in the decor, but the food it's good, recommended!

About 20 minutes from San Juan you can taste Puertorrican cuisine without braking the bank and leave with a full belly. Their mamposteado with Churrasco (Sirloin) is the best I have ever had.( And I try it every where they have it on their menu). Service was great and my belly full!!
