to try a local place upon arrival to Santa Marta.Restaurante Welcome definitely provides a local flavor to any visit. We were warmly greeted provided a menu and drinks quickly arrived.Had some great seafood and the fish soup was good.As others have stated the picture provided for the listing is not the dining area of this restaurant. Dining area is much more basic.Manager/owner is very welcoming and made great recommendations.

El Muelle is a restaurant at the beach like many other restaurants of this type. White plastic table and plastic chairs. You can enjoy the local life during eating. I was recommended the "caserol de mariscos" which was very delicious and very big. Also many locals having food their which is a good sign as well.

Lamart does amazing seafood always packed full of yummy flavour and beautifully presented. The thai curry is incredible and most recently we had a really delicious fresh corvina fish and cayeye. Definitely recommend for a romantic lunch or dinner - it is especially nice at night when the street is all lit up!

Mediterranean cuisine fused with the Colombian Caribbean
Nice enough place .. super busy which is always a good sign.. food was nice .. but so special that I would return for round 2. Peeking into the kitchen - the cooks seemed to be working with care + precision which is nice to see from ones table .. but the food was really rather simple ... in a high end way. Thanks a lot for your visit. We hope see you again at the 2nd round! :)Best Regards,Sebastian

It's also a hostel, but the restaurant is independent from the hostel and it's heavenly.
This restaurant is in building of Hostal casa de felipe and lot of people think,it is under same company....I was there in december 2015 with my son.Food allways excelent and staff perfect, only one small problem ,they didnt accept credit cards.....True name of this restaurant is: LA COCINA DE DANIEL,Compare with some dirty and overpriced restaurants, with cheating staff on beach front of Taganga, here is perfect correct and profesional service!!!!

I'm not even a fry girl. I usually ask them to be substituted for something else. So glad I did not this time. They were amazing! My fish was basic, tasty, but nothing special. My husband got the pesto pasta which was light and tasty, not too oily. The coco con lemon drinks (common here) were delicious!

After being ignored at dinner last night and eating possibly the worst breakfast ever (at the creperie - tough scrambled eggs and cold coffee) we were feeling pretty miserable in Taganga. Then we found Babaganoush and our spirits lifted.Humous and bread on the house, great service, good wine, amazing craft beer (some made with coca leaves) with water from the Sierra Nevada. The food was amazing too pumpkin soup, crab cakes, fish fillets. Weâre coming back here until weâve eaten the whole menu!

The Bar Restaurant is located in the Divanga Bed & Breakfast Hostel. It has been open since 2007 and offers dishes made from fresh, local products and with an added touch of French flavor. Lucie, the owner of Divanga, tries to offer guests the equivalence
We found this place by total chance, it doesnât seem as much but itâs a great restaurant, we had robalo filet with baked potatoes, it came with fresh veggies sauce (spinach, tomatoes and onions) great flavor and texture. And while you wait why not a game of pool? And after a swim? Great day, energy and food.thank you so much Paola !! We wait for you again! thank you for choosing us , and for the positive vibes !! cheers!
