We ate at The Fish Pot twice during our stay on the island and both times the food was great. The fresh fish was cooked beautifully and accompanied by some lovely sides. The staff were lovely and overall would 100% recommend going here for dinner!

We were staying in nearby Parlatuvier. Our B&B hosts recommended this place enough that they also put in an order and drove us over to meet Vaness and pick up the food to have back at our cottage. We ordered the pork and the prawns (a local freshwater crayfish). The pork was in a savory gravy and the prawns in an amazing tangy curry. We also got rice, peas, a pasta salad and callaloo to go along with the meat. Everything was pretty cold out of the boxes, but a minute in our microwave brought it back to piping hot. Other reviews keep complaining about the price, but I think this was the least expensive meal we had on Tobago.

The reviews for Basils are fairly consistent. We were one of two tables occupied on a Saturday night. Quiet location, relaxed ambience and Caribbean style. Menu was fairly straight forward with a good fish selection. We really had hopes for a great dinner but it just fell a little short. Our dinners were good but not great. We really enjoyed the atmosphere but wish it was a better dinner. Nominal value 3/5 starsRelative value 2.5/5 stars

Fabulous beach side dining with fresh seafood, premium ingredients, an awesome wine & cocktail list, and great personal and attentive service.
I had the pleasure of having dinner at this restaurant recently with my family. The food was great, portions we're quite large, drinks were on point, and desserts were lovely. Service was attentive, quick and friendly. Ambiance was beautiful, you can hear waves crashing on the shore. A few tips: definitely make reservations, the restaurant fills up around 7pm; if you have children, the tables have lit candles so be careful, also the ladies room does not have a baby changing area, high chairs for kids are available upon request. Be aware of the climate of Tobago, being tropical and humid: the restaurant has a lovely outdoor dining space and open verandah but with the weather, it may be humid. Overall, a fantastic experience. Would visit again.

Bar-Club hybrid ..... Unique as the island itself. Fantastic Food. The right MIX....Drinks.Music.People
Located on the Scarborough waterfront, you could hardly ask for a better location, while enjoying a beverage from their vast array of premium drinks. Now let's talk about the food, on an everyday basis, there's a made to order beef burger that is absolutely tops on taste, with optional toppings like bacon and fresh pineapple slices! Can't figure out the secret, but each burger, somehow tastes better then the last. There's also ribeye steak, fresh fish of the season, and shrimp, nicely grilled with a nice selection of sides, like fires, wedges, or Alicia's special pasta salad. On Friday's they roll out a special Friday luncheon, with very well prepared Creole dishes that's always very tasty!!thanks so much for the great review !!! we are happy to bring service and a consistent standard to all our customers!!! see ya soon

This is the only restaurant at the hotel and no others in walking distance so we had no choice. Food was crazy expensive and bland, dry and still not quite sure what we were served. We did not finish either meal. Ordered hummus for an appetizer which was not good and came out at the same time as dinner, which took forever. I realize we are on island time but this was more of a debacle than an relaxed island feel. Don't bother with the expensive touristy rum punch. Outdoor seating was interesting as you are pretty much in the street. But the weather was great. I would not eat there again.

Is worth the effort seeking this place out. One of the best roti and buss up shot I've eaten, and best part is they take credit cards, perfect for the vacationer who don't have a lot of cash with them.

Went for lunch and had a great meal. Set menu that changes cooked by owner and his lovely wife Allison brings in the meals and chats up the customers. We are going back for dinner. Reservation only so please phone beforehand. One of the best meals in the area.

A brightly coloured gem of a spot well known for fresh foods, friendly service and great views in a setting of locally made handicraft, art, jewellery and clothing. We are nestled in the village of Lambeau near to Scarborough Tobago. Our decor is that of
I took my family tonShore Things for lunch on a small vacation to Tobago. To say that the food was scrumptious is an understatement. The callloo soup amd pumpkin soup were fabulous. For the main dish among the four of us we ordered the vegetarian crepes, tuna, Fish quiche and beef lasagne. All came with salad and amazing rolls. And the piece de resistance was the dessert - coconut I cream with real coconut in it, phenomenal coconut cream pie and awesome lemon merengue pie. All in all it was a wonderful meal in a very relaxing ambiance. Next time you are in Tobago donât forget to stop by for lunch.

Have been going here for reviews. Have recently invested money and improved the ambience inside. Add mist sprays which are amazing in the hot weather! New chef is very good and food was excellent. Lovely friendly staff too. Beautiful setting on the beach. Great choice of cocktails too.
