Find out what Caribbean restaurants to try in San Andres Island. The coral island of San Andres is a diverse ecosystem of reefs, geysers, groves, and cays. Needless to say, it’s perfect for diving, snorkeling, and outdoor exploring. This paradise has multicolored warm waters and 12 mangrove forests, and the beach cedars of Johnny Cay are like natural condos for beach birds. Keep an eye out for overlooked pirate treasure at Morgan’s Cave before chowing down on rondón, a signature Caribbean dish of fish, pork, conch, plantain and coconut milk.

We Are A Restaurant And Bar Our Ubication Its In Front To The Beach In San Luis Sector. We Offer Lunch And Drinks, Its Handmade Cucine With Ilander Products.
Yes, the various pics you see of Star's Kitchen are accurate. Joined some friends here for lunch one day, maybe 30 feet from the beach with nothing but the occasional passerby to interrupt the view. And their beach is pretty nice and far less crowded than others, so feel free to linger a bit and enjoy a swim after your lunch. Or while you wait.My wife and I split the fish of the day and a ceviche with a couple nice and cold cervezas. Fish was excellent and she enjoyed the ceviche. (The split wasn't exactly 50-50... ) with some absolutely fantastic "french fry fillins" - yucca? Not sure the name, but they were brilliant. Total cost with servicio was around $25. Biggest drawback - we would have enjoyed a couple more cervezas, or even some of he house special drinks, but due to bad luck, we were unable to put the lunch on our card and had to keep it under what we had in pocket. I guess it's a coinflip whether or not it will be working. So bring cash.

Nice, modern style installation. At the beachwalk, good selection of convenient food and drinks. We orders some beer, that came cold. After complaining we had to learn that they are at the right temperature ... and that a lot of guest complain, normally Brazilians.I would recommend to adapt to your customers..Also credit card payment only above 25.000 pesos.

We stopped on our trip around the island with a small golf car and ate a fabulous meal of fresh fish, with coconut rice (oh so delicious) and fried plantains. It was so good that I came back a week later cycling to enjoy another great meal but this time I was lucky enough to get fried breadfruit!

We ordered seafood âa la planchaâ, and it was very salted and not really hot. But it tasted good. I canât judge if was bad luck or the food is always like this. But I donât really recommend it.

The main beach on the North End is plenty fun, but we decided we'd hike to San Luis to explore the beach there. I'm not sure I'd recommend the walk--it took about 90 minutes and wasn't particularly scenic most of the way (taxi back to North End was ~US$6). That said, upon walking by Aqua, we made a good decision to spend nearly the whole the day parked here. Though the waitresses are definitely on "island time," it's tranquil, very reasonably priced, and the ceviche was delicious. It also beats spending your day on the beach itself as there's a proper bathroom at Aqua and you can settle with a credit card at the end of the day. The beach itself had fewer people and certainly fewer watercraft than on the North End, and I didn't find the need to wear shoes in the water here either which was a plus. I'd happily waste another day here.

In the heart of the boardwalk, across a picture perfect white sand beach with gin clear tropical water. I like the fact that there are three interconnected restaurants with three different flavors, Tai, Italian and international. You can actually order from any of them and you can't go wrong. If you are into seafood, I recommend the grill octopus. Carnivores, go for the pepper steak.

We went to Seaweee because of all the good reviews on Tripadvisor, but sorry we can not confirm that! We ordered a Wrap and Peruvian Style Ceviche. The Wrap was soso, not really healthy but okay. But the Ceviche was to badest we had during our 3.5 months trip in south america! They served it in a plastic bowl, which wasnât a problem. But you felt like in a fast food restaurant, served without any love. As side to the Ceviche, we became some crackers from the supermarket. Sorry when I pay 27â000 cop for Ceviche Iâd like to eat with normal cutlery and not with a plastic spoon out of a plastic bowl! The worst of all was that the fish defenetly not was fresh, it tasted really chewy. On a island I really do expect fresh fish! When I asked the waiter about the freshness, he said yes itâs fresh. We buy if fresh, cut it in pieces and freez it! WTF! Thatâs not fresh! I really feel sorry for the cook, this poor man donât know whats fresh! I canât belive why people wrote they had in this restaurant the best Ceviche! We had several Ceviches, and this was the badest ever! Donât go there and eat Ceviche! The pricelevel is also really high, in Cartagena, who is also very touristy, we had a delicious one for 20.000cop including fresh Patacones! It was defenetly the first and last time we ate here!!!

When you arrive out front of this restaurant...you'll be wondering "why ?" you came, as the street is located in an industrial part of San Andres. But as you enter and are greeted, you will see a spotless interior..with a welcoming staff. I was quickly attended by a friendly waitress, who brought an ice cold beer to me nicely and quickly. I perused the menu and chose Pulpa(octopus)...which arrived as described...grilled to perfection, with a garlic-enfused sauce=Excellent entree. And amazing the prices are low ! If you want fresh fish/shrimp/pulpa/etc. this is a must-stop while on San Andres ! The service is great & the food wonderful, plus the beer is cold ! Try this one on for size & you'll leave smiling...oh yes !

Must make reservation! But well worth it! We booked 2 days out for 7pm. Had a nice table for two outside on the dock. Service was prompt and very professional. Had the tuna tartar and grilled ceviche as appetizer and seafood fiesta which was plenty for two. The white sangria and tres leches were also outstanding. The best meal of our trip!
