Reviews on Caribbean food in Saba, Caribbean. Those looking for the typical Caribbean tourist experience - drinking, gambling, beaches - will want to stick to next-door neighbor St. Maarten. But for a remote escape known for ecotourism, including hikes, climbs and spectacular dives, Saba delivers. The smallest island (five square miles) in the Netherlands Antilles, Saba is primarily a dormant volcano covered in rain forest. A single road (aptly named "The Road") takes visitors to quaint villages, where you can purchase the traditional Saba lace.

Many offerings from sandwiches to meals, nice casual spot overlooking the peaceful main street of the Bottom. Worth a walk down the hill from Queen's Gardens for a change of pace.

My husband and I visited Saba for 10 days this month and ate lunch or dinner here 4 times. We both are vegetarian and enjoyed their rice and beans, veggie tacos, veggie lasagn, and veggie quesadilla. Ice cream and brownies. All outdoor seating, friendly people. Perfect.

We were on Saba for 4 nights. We ate supper here once & lunch here once. Gelato desserts were amaaaazing. Profiteroles with pistachio gelato & chocolate sauce. Are you kidding me? Fresh seafood was so good. We had snapper, also had tuna, popcorn shrimp, calamari. Kids & Gramoy had burgers & fries. Everything was fresh & delicious. Servers were super, super friendly. We loved Danielle. The owner waited on us the 2nd day & she was kind & efficient too. Very family friendly. We ate on tables outside. Twinkly patio lights in a cobblestone square area. Great view of the ocean. There was an air conditioned spot where you could eat inside. Thank you for your review, it was such a pleasure to meet you and your family! We're happy to hear you enjoyed our seafood, burgers and desserts so much and hope to see you guys back on Saba and at the Hideaway!Greetings,Danielle Dunlop

Scout's has one of the best views of all the Windwardside restaurants. My husband ordered wings (an appetizer) which he ate for dinner as he was not very hungry that evening. Our daughter ordered shrimp scampi, which was disappointing because it came with a heavy alfredo type sauce - not the shrimp scampi we are used to. My chicken sandwich with fries and slaw was good. Scout's has free WiFi but it is sporadic.

Tropics Cafe is the perfect place to relax any time of the day. Its charming terrace dining room overlooks the pool with a panoramic view of the mountainside terrain and the sparkling blue Caribbean Sea. Complement your experience by relaxing at the pool
All of their food was excellent. Hamburger, lamb, ceviche were all delicious. We had breakfast included in our stay and the eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. For more info and pics visit TA etbtravelphotography trips

We have started the evening with some gin tonics. This place is the place to be for lovely gin ! Many kind of gin are available. Delicious ! And an amazing nice view on the hills and sea at Saba.Super !The dinner we took at the restaurant. A mistake. A short menu, just 3 main meals on the menu. The taste is good but not that much on the plate. So overpriced. But the view is amazing ! The service is excellent.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Brigadoon. We ordered pasta with grilled shrimp, lamb shank with mashed potatoes, and local snapper with vegetables and cilantro rice. The food was delicious and the service was leisurely but attentive and friendly. They had some unusual ice cream flavors - be sure to ask if you go there. Dear Manatee4Me,Thank you for taking the time to post a fantastic review regarding your recent visit to Brigadoon. Chez Bubba Bistro, the only French Bistro on the island of Saba. Dining in an intimate, romantic setting with classic French dishes and weekly changing specials. Our Chef uses only the freshest of ingredients and all that you will enjoy is homemade! A din
We had originally avoided Chez Bubba because it was described as fancy french. I'd disagree with the description. Good food (more than just French), nice view. Lobster was reasonably priced. We'd go back for sure. Limited hours so be sure to check availability. More info and pics at TA etbtravelphotographyThank you for your kind words and we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your dinner experience with us. We look forward to welcoming you back!!
