Reviews on Caribbean food in Runaway Bay, Saint Ann Parish, Caribbean. Just ten miles west of Ocho Rios, Runaway Bay's stunning beaches see far fewer footprints than its neighbors. It's also removed from the cruise ship herds and pushy vendors. Perfect for those happy not to wander far from their resort, there are a few nearby attractions nonetheless. Bob Marley's childhood home and mausoleum is in nearby Nine Mile. Jamaican history is on view at Seville Great House and at Columbus Park Museum. To explore, rent a reliable vehicle and remember to drive on the left.

We stayed at the resort beside here, close enough to walk next door. We arranged for a bachelorette party here, host was amazing, bartender was wonderful, dj played the best music I heard for my whole vacation. Would recommend.
Great little spot, for tourist and locals, free wifi offered, bar and grill type of place, karaoke Monday nights, music others, sports bar big screen, kitchen serving Jamaican food, opens in the afternoon. Clean, and safe vibe when I went.
I had the opportunity to visit JamDung twice while staying at Jewel Runaway Bay. Lovely experiences. Keisha was attentive and enjoyable to speak with. Try the chicken foot soup! Music on Friday night was retro and was played in a manner that appealed to everyone present.

Went for a couple of drinks for a change of scenery from the hotel one evening.5 of us went and we all had ice cold Red Stripe at a very reasonable price, we sat outside (although it can feel a little like being on the M6 at times!) and they cranked the music up for us.Had fun chatting to all the locals and had a very enjoyable few hours - Frank your a Legend!!!!!Inside there was a pool table and some slot machines if you fancied them.Overall had a good night and was good to get away from the hotel.

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch and had a great experience. Open-air and on the second floor, it offers a casual ambiance with a good selection of Jamaican specialities overlooking the golf course. We ordered the curried goat with rice and peas (ie, beans) the jerk pork sandwich. Prices are reasonable-- about $8 - $10 USD per meal. Bottled water was $1 and soda/fruit punch is about $3 each. Service was excellent. They were having a wedding while we were there so we were able to look over and see the ceremony. Just across the highway from the Jewel Runaway Bay Golf Resort. Free parking. If you're in the area and want to relax and have a meal, this is a great place to do it.Thank you for your feedback! Looking forward to hosting you on your next visit to Jamaica :)

Very basic food served in containers, plastic forks, has the air of a working man's establishment just right for a quick bite and away. It suited us fine on our way back home from St. Ann very popular with the locals. Food was ok would recommend it for a quick stop.

This place is perfect for having a quick snack and a nice cold Red Strip. Their main course foods are horrible. It does not taste freshly cooked, taste as if everything is heated up. Apart from that Flavours is sitting on a great property with amazing views of the sea.

It doesn't get any fresher than this! The Highseas raft pulls up daily for lunch with fresh caught lobster, crab, etc. Cooked on an open charcoal bbq, with sides of rice, onion and pineapple. There is always a crowd around the raft, checking out the shells etc. Absolutely the best!

Reasonably priced, nice clean atmosphere, good music, great food, great service. We had three entrees, two rounds of drinks, two appetizers and dessert for about one hundred US dollars. I had the grilled lobster...two tails and a side for $30. My husband had a whole steamed fish with veggies and a side and grilled octopus. Everything was delicious and fresh. Drinks were good sized and a cosmo and vodka martini were 6$ each. I had Black Forrest Cake, yummmy...there was a hint of rum in it. We took two appetizers back to our bartender at the resort we were at as she is the one that recommended the restaurant to us. Great place, going back again tomorrow night!

This was honestly one of my favourite parts of our holiday. Walking out to meet the guys and have a freshly cooked lobster which you then eat on the beach is just amazing. So pleased we tried their food everyone should walk into the water and meet these guys.
