Discover Restaurants offering the best Caribbean food in Oranjestad, Caribbean. Boutiques, upscale chain stores and street vendors, as wells as casinos and a wide range of restaurants, dance clubs and bars, make Oranjestad a popular destination in Aruba. In addition to shopping, dining and entertainment, the island's capital city offers museums, a butterfly farm, art galleries, golf, historical sites and a marina. The island's colonization by the Netherlands shows in Oranjestad's Dutch colonial architecture, while the buildings' bright colors are distinctly Caribbean.

From a spectacular, converted building with a quasi-outdoor experience and an extremely unique menu, every offering is amazing. This restaurant and soon-to-be, Italian steak dinner restaurant next-door with a sister tapas restaurant next-door to that inspired us to do a second group dinner on our sales trip to Aruba in March 2020. This visit we did just dinner after sampling appetizers at Barefoot. The owner and manager and waiter were all amazing and we were elated over the experience and service we received. We even got a tour of the new Italian steak restaurant next-door. I donât have words to describe the unique menu offerings and the flavor that each dish had. Everything from dinner to desert and martinis were over the top. Our waiter was the brother of the bartender who made the awesome secret martini of the night. The quality of everything is truly special. We are excited to return next March and share this experience with our colleagues

While strolling the downtown area, we came across a place that will become a destination for all of our future Aruba trips. Without a particular plan, or reservation, we wandered in for a drink. Immediately, we were so courteously welcomed. This restaurant has so much charm, and warmth, also a cozy outside patio. The staff was so nice, and attentive. ( Rose and Laura). The owner, offered us a sample of their distinctive menu, which was amazing. The Moscow Mule, and Pineapple Mojito were equally delicious. We ordered appetizers, and dessert, even though we weren't that hungry!. It was such a comfortable feeling we had there, we made reservations for another night before we left. Our dinner was also a fantastic experience. The owner is a remarkable person, with a dedication and passion for excellence. Roseann and Rich

Nice little spot tucked on a backstreet downtown. Old building with low ceilings (low doorways too) but lots of character. But the wedge salad.....so good! Topped with multiple fresh toppings; tomato, onion, radish, carrot, seasoned grilled chicken breast and drizzled with a wonderful blue cheese dressing. My main on this visit was the Grouper Italiano; a nice filet topped with pesto, cheese, mushrooms and greens in a garlic flavored drizzle. Portions much to large to eat in one sitting so delicious lunch the next day!

A local glittering restaurant in the heart of Oranjestad, world-class seafood, prime steaks, and unparalleled service in a vibrant, up-scale setting.
What a gem. We were so happy with the ambience, service, friendliness and most of all the amazing food. We both had a whole red snapper that was cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth good! Our server, Kenia, couldnât have been nicer. We really enjoyed his warm welcome and his patience with our trying to decide what to have (great menu!). After many years of visiting Aruba and itâs abundance of great restaurants, Opus will be a must visit each trip and most likely more than once per trip!
