Since February 2014 Nishi is under the ownership of Chris Maskery, a successful UK restauranteur and Steve Prebble a UK entrepreneur who lives in Barbados. Nishi incorporates a funky outdoor dining area and bar where you can dine under the stars, air-cond
This was our second trip to Nishi and it did not disappoint. Try the Seaside roll it was perfection. They dynamite Spider was only mildly spicy but great. The Dim Sum, Asian Beef Salad were an great experience. They have removed the upstair dining and it nice, clean and makes you feel at home. Love this place. Will be back

We used the beach beds for free and had lunch here, the beach is gorgeous and practically deserted. For lunch we had the baguettes and a roti and all were great not bad prices either and they offer a bar service to your beach bed ....lovely staff ,great service, happy days

Fantastic restaurant overlooking the sea, with excellent lobster. Can't believe no-one has reviewed it before!
Ate here half way through our holiday only to get severe food poisoning, had to spend the rest of my trip visiting the medical centre and in bed. Avoid. Thanks for letting us know via social media of your claim to have had food poisoning. One might have thought it better to contact us directly to make your claim - but I guess in this day and age certain types of people feel this is the way to conduct oneself.Firstly let me say that it is a shame to have felt poorly on holiday as a result of what you claim.Food poisoning is a very serious claim to make. Having just reopened our restaurant and factually know our produce is as fresh as one can purchase, , whilst I sympathise , I find your claim to be extremely unfair without you having made any contact and or actually know categorically you got food poisoning from our establishment. In all my years of owning Fish Pot, the few persons to have made such a claim have usually spent the entire day in the sea and perhaps have a case of sunstroke.

I'd been looking forward to visiting Bombas so booked a table for 7.30 one evening having heard it gets busy. Unfortunately we were the only ones there! It's in a lovely location and the American lady serving us was very friendly when we arrived but once our food had arrived, she started packing away all the tables and chairs! I had some ice cream but wasn't sure why I bothered. All the staff had gone home whilst we were still waiting for our cab for the return journey to Holetown - the driver couldn't believe how quick our meal had been. Allowing for the cab rides, it was our most expensive meal and the worst food and experience. Such a shame.

De Outback Bar & Grill is well nestled in a quaint and quit area off of Highway 1, 10 miles from the capital of Barbados Bridgetown and two miles from Speightstown. This is a family operation where you can experience the taste and the feel of the Caribbea
This place was close to where we stayed and we didn't feel like traveling far so gave it a try. We all really enjoyed our meals. The food was great as was the friendly service. The setting is tropical and fun. When we arrived while still light out, we were a little hesitant as the restaurant is at the back of a dusty parking lot and not well signed. But we were pleasantly rewarded with a very good meal. Surprised it wasn't busier given quality of the food (but that entrance may have confused some). I'd skip the rum punch though as that was the only weak link.

Hugo's Restaurant, located on Speightstown's beachfront is Barbados' newest culinary experience. Housing historic items from the Ivy restaurant in London and the late Lord Glenconnerâs home in Mustique, the restaurant takes its name from Hugo, the grandso
Had another lovely evening not dented by the heavy rainfall which fell at times whatsoever. The staff were on top of it.Nice reception and greeting.Great food, although perhaps a little sauce with the shrimp and avocado starter may be welcome.Good, laid back and courteous staff. And, as always a fabulous setting.Keep it up and maintain those high standards.

Grandene's Bar & Bistro is a small restaurant specializing in tantalizing local cuisine and beverages. If you are seeking to experience Bajan charm, delicacies and cuisine, Grandene's is the place for you. Our opening hours are Mondays to Thursdays 10:30
If you are in Barbados you definitely need to check out Grandeneâs. The food was amazing, service very attentive and drinks were tasty. Hubby ordered the fried chicken, breadfruit pie, and vegs. I ordered the grilled marlin, macaroni pie. Everything was so good. Large portions. My pictures donât do it justice. Shane and his mom do a great job. Definitely order the Rum Sour with fresh squeezed lime juice. We will definitely be back.

Poolside dining at sugar hill resort, fabulous sunsets with a great bar scene . Refurbished In November 2016 . New dining experience . We also own cafe Carizma in the chattel village Holetown . We look forward to welcoming you to our new restaurant. Pleas
We ate here on a Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our BBQ meals. The surroundings were simply beautiful. The meat was cooked on the BBQ, with a buffet of pasta, rice, colesaw, salad, dressings, etc. My roast rib was so tasty! The chicken, by all accounts, was also good. Our kids had the hanging kebab - superb, and the hot lava cake - delicious! Of course I had to sample both!Service was attentive, without being overly fussy. Our water glasses were always kept topped up. We also spoke with the owner, who was around and about all evening - always a good sign. All in, with wine, beer, and cokes, it came to a very reasonable $270 Bajan. Our only regret is that we didn't find Carizma earlier!

Popped in as our intended venue had closed early! They a a great two piece band / vocalist playing, the drinks were cheap compared to most of Barbados! The bar food was excellent and the service from all the staff BRILLIANT. Took our friends who live on the island and they loved it and will recommend to their circle. Thanks

Island Plates is a lovely Cafe in Town Square, Speightstown, St. Peter (The Mall is located opposite Jordan's Supermarket). It is run by local sisters Pat and Marie. Food is prepared to order and the cafe serves up fresh local juice, hearty salads, hot ba
My husband is a lover of Speightstown so for his birthday this year I decided we would go for breakfast in the area. Not being familiar with the eating places in the area a quick Google search brought up Island Plates and I decided to give it a try. We were definitely not disappointed and my family will definitely be back perhaps to try lunch next time around in the very near future. There is a quaint quietness to the area and the food and service were excellent - I had the eggs and baked beans, my husband the omelette and my sons had egg and sausage and pancake and sausage. The food is prepared fresh which is definitely a bonus and clearly with attention to detail. Pat (the chef/co-owner) even packed a little something extra in our take away bag as a birthday treat for my husband! :-)Thank you. It was really a pleasure to have met your family.Marie & I are happy that you had such a positive experience with us and that you are already planning your return trip!Enjoy your evening! Marie & Pat
