Find out what Caribbean restaurants to try in Madrid. The capital of Spain, Madrid is where established traditions, classic and alternative art scenes, and a knack for socializing over food or drinks at any hour come together in a vibrant, walkable city with a laid back yet metropolitan vibe. After reading all reviews of how this place is cool I was really disappointed. It is not that it was horrible, but there was nothing special about it. Tables are mass market tables branded by Desperados. Chairs look like from a cheap bar. I haven't managed to enter the place yet when I was asked if I came only for a drink or also food. Although there were many tables free they were only reserved for people eating. It is not an approach which I support. If I come to a place and order sth I want to sit comfortably. I ordered bread sticks filled with cheese and some sweet sauce. The price was ok (8 €) for the size of the dish, but although I could feel that it was freshly made (the wheat dough was crispy and warm) in my opinion it had no taste. The sweet sauce made it even worse as it made the whole combo heavy and bland in taste. I also had some "burger" in corn bread. The filling of the "burger" was ok, but I left most of the breaths as it wasn't tasty. If I would live in Madrid I would not probably visit the place again.

My wife booked this place as it’s ranked 11th in Madrid. Wow we were so underwhelmed! First off the one meal I wanted out of a menu of around 10 meals wasn’t available. So we ordered and literally 1 minute later our meals arrived (before the mojioto’s we had ordered at the same time). The meals were like warm so by my reckoning hadn’t been microwaved long enough (remember it only took 1 minute from ordering to being at the table) plus they were so basic. I go to a restaurant to eat food that I wouldn’t or couldn’t cook at home. I could have knocked this food up on a weekday evening without blinking an eye. On a positive the Mojito’s were nice and the meal only cost €40
