Things to do in Clarkston
I went here one day for the first time. I actually had to use the restroom. After I finished I went and placed a order of jerk chicken and rice. A very delicious meal. I got the lunch special and really enjoyed my food.
Big boned with lots of meat! Curry goat and oxtail nicely seasoned. Service could be slow at times. The only thing about this restaurant is their plantains...never sweet and ripe. Maybe the could start frying bananas like the Asian cuisines. Otherwise you can't go wrong with the oxtail, curry goat and red peas soup.

There are a lot of businesses that come and go. Cool runnings stand strong. The reason is good prices, spotless clean environment, good food and excellent service. There is a new Chinese lady there. Sorry I didn't get her name. She is one of the nicest, hardest working persons that I've seen anywhere. She is a nice addition to an already good restaurant. I always enjoy my experience there.
This is another go to place in Atlanta for Jamaican veggie, soya and spinach patties.Fast service. Can also get plantain tarts, buns, soft drinks, and a hurried smile and thank you.

My family and I stopped in during a visit to the Atlanta area. Iâve had good Cuban food before so know what to expect. The Cuban sandwiches were average at best. The empanadas (especially filling) were okay but the oil very heavy and old tasting. Could also be that palm oil was used and Iâm not a fan of it. The rice was good but not the best Iâve had. The black beans were flavorful and great. I also had the red snapper. Again, fried in the mystery oil so a little heavy and not fresh tasting. Also, for some reason the bottom of the pan was lined with pickles? Not so yummy when hot pickle juices soak into the fish. Sure, call me super picky but I do enjoy great food and know it when I have it. I wouldnât necessarily recommend this place but also think it has potential. A few changes to flavor profiles and preparations it could be a go to place.
