Find out what Caribbean restaurants to try in Bequia. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a country of 32 beautiful Caribbean islands in the idyllic Caribbean, stretching south from Saint Vincent Island to Grenada. Proud of its French and British colonial history, it is now part of the Commonwealth of Nations and CARICOM. Bequia, pronounced "Beck-way”, is blessed with white sandy beaches, coral reefs, and friendly people. Port Elizabeth is a bustling yachting town. Enjoy yachting, scuba diving and snorkeling over coral reefs. Restaurants on Bequia tend to be small, friendly local enterprises. Try “goat water” soup, Bitter Lemon a popular soda and Hairoun the local brew. The island of St. Vincent, originally named Hairouna by the native Caribs, is relatively small, and its mountainous landscape makes getting around a challenge. Its capital is Kingstown and also its main port. Follow the Vermont Nature Trail and experience the spectacle of more than 500 parrots in flight. Numerous endemic species make this trail their home. Take a stroll along a scenic coastal path and take pleasure in the numerous waterfalls or hike to Fort Charlotte and be amazed by the views. Challenge yourself by a climbing the Soufriere volcano.

It looks a little rundown (but in a nice way) and interesting with lots of flags and foreign bank notes, so we thought we'd try it for lunch. What we had was delicious chicken rôtis and a couple of cold Hairoun beers. All in a beautiful seafront setting. 44 ECD was the price. Not bad at all. Give it a try.

Open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner, this romantic and relaxing restaurant features fresh dishes made with ingredients collected daily from the Plantation. Beautiful views across the palm groves with cooling Caribbean breezes.Special creole, BBQ and Jerk
We stopped here for the plantation tour and lunch. We loved the tour but lunch was disappointing for the price. My wife order the lemongrass and honey tea. When they brought out the tea they told her they were out of honey. She rose a sandwich and it was very basic, thin with very little on it.

Bequia Beach Hotel's main restaurant 'Bagatelle' is located right on the stunning Friendship Beach with the 'Bequia Beach Bar' just a few feet away. Offering sweeping views, Bagatelle's open beachside verandas are a favourite amongst guests, whether dinin
The menu is a bit limited for dining, but the restaurant makes up for it by chaning it out each and every night. During our family visit, Wednesday night was an all inclusive BBQ with fish, ribs, and chicken. Friday's all inclusive was seafood. Thursday was an a la carte night, which I ordered the lamp comps (and they were excellent)! Starters consisted of local dishes like conch and callaloo soup. Staff were very attentive and able to make reliable recommendations concerning the menu options. Meal presentation was of a professional chef quality. We enjoyed it! Dear MartyParty,Thank you very much for your wonderful comments. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed your meals at the Bagatelle Restaurant. Most of all, i am pleased that you enjoyed the service provided by our staff. This is an important and lasting memory of the hotel. Thank you We look forward to welcoming you and your family back.Best Regards,Isola

A bit north of the Elizabeth beach restaurants , Cocos offers fresh fish ,chicken and curry dishes. Great service . Clean friendly. Flaming bananas for dessert was delicious. They had a 3 piece band for entertainment during dinner. They were great !

We first visited Papaâs 6 years ago and were disappointed with the food and service. However, we had a completely different experience a few nights ago. The ribs were spot on and the service was outstanding. We have noticed on this trip a massive improvement in food quality and service on the island and nowhere was this improvement more apparent than at Papaâs. Bravo!

Enviably located on what many call one of the best beaches in the Caribbean is Jackâs Beach Bar. Completely refurbished and given a fresh lick of paint but still retaining the iconic bohemian beach-chic charm that has sailors, beachgoers and Bequians spel
Service was ok, but the food was amazing. Surprisingly the quinoa salad was a large portion, fresh, and delicious in every way. As a vegetarian there were a couple of other options, but I would literally come back just for this salad- really outstanding taste and presentation.Hello Sam! Thank you for visiting Jack's and for your great review. We look forward to seeing you again.

You all know the stories, how Nando catches his fish in the morning, cooks everything himself etc. We went on a set menu night. A vegetable soup, spicy with coconut, was followed by the snapper, delicately fried and presented with veg of the day, then finished with a couple of scoops of passion fruit and coconut ice cream. Good simple food, nicely cooked, It's the backstory that makes the place, and the setting which is rather fine, tucked up a steep drive set into the hillside. It's certainly not fine dining but a good honest place for a fun dinner. Reservations advised.

A really nice setting by the port. We went on a Sunday evening and they had live music which was great fun; we even had dancing dogs who came to join in the fun! The food was good authentic home cooked food and was reasonably priced. Quirky decor and lovely staff. The bill was wrong twice although it was sorted but this was the only negative. We did try and book this restaurant using its Facebook page and got no response but were told on arrival that this isn't really used and so don't use Facebook to book! In any event we found we didn't have to book and got a seat quite easily at around 8 pm.

This place is just a few minutes drive from Port Elizabeth and well worth the taxi ride.We had taken the ferry from st Vincent in the am to go and spend the day o Bequai and had made a reservation for lunch hereTo our great surprise, we met the owner, Emmet, on the ferry! He ended up giving us a drive from the ferry terminal to his innHe told us some neat stuff about the island on our way there eg building challenges taxes and levies on imported cars. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the most lovely dining room, right on the beach. There were only 3 tables occupied for lunch ch and the atmosphere was heavenlyThe decors of the restaurant is unique in that there is a large mirror whose frame is built from driftwood. 3 chandeliers hang from the ceiling, also made from driftwood and seashells. The decors itself is worth a visit to this place. We had a rum punch - not sweet and nicely flavored with nutmeg. One was enough as it packed a punch for sure!My husband and I shared the lobster tail soup. It was so nicely flavored - no one ingredient stole the show but rather was a nice melange of caribbean flavors featuring the lovely lobster tail meatFor mains, we had the lobster roti - a flat bread flavored with curry and filled with morsels of lobster meat. Two condiments were served - one was a compote and the other a salsa. This place is a class act. The service is excellent. The bathrooms are clean with spa and hand lotion.
