Find out what Caribbean restaurants to try in Belize City. Located on the east coast of Belize at the mouth of the Belize River, Belize City sits on a peninsula jutting into the Caribbean Sea. As the nation's main port, the city is a hub for cruise ships and is often a jumping-off spot for excursions to other parts of Belize, including the Cayo District's caves and Maya archaeological sites along the Macal and Belize rivers. Belize City boasts the only manual swing bridge in the world and the oldest Anglican cathedral in Central America.

I paid $10 US for 1 cup of orange-colored rice with 1/4 cups chopped vegetables mixed in. This is their idea of vegetarian paella. With no saffron taste to speak of, it was a decent Chinese side dish of rice with vegetables but a poor paella. I went back to my room and ate a 2-day old muffin I brought from home in order to feel full. The squished muffin was better than the rice.

Come enjoy our delicious twist to a bunch of local, and international cuisines! Oh! did we mention our unique and savory alcoholic/ nonalcoholic drinks?
I really enjoy the Chipotle Bowl at Mimi's! It extremely delicious, fresh and is a mixture of flavors bursting in your mouth. The salad has fresh lettuce, black beans, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, corn, chicken, Spanish yellow rice and sour cream. It is also complemented by a chipotle sauce which has some mild peppers flavors in it. I also enjoyed the tortilla soup and the other items on the Mexican menu. The ambiance is great with light modern music. Inside has AC and outside has fresh air. The service is good, food takes about 15 minutes to be served. I would strongly recommend going there.

We wanted to eat some native Belizean food and Nerries got some nice reviews. We liked the restaurant as there were many locals there and it felt like we were experiencing a little bit of Belize. The service was great. Everything was great, but the food. It was well prepared and fresh and all that, but it just didn't taste good to me....I didn't like the flavors.

Caribbean Shrimp Farm is a small sustainably minded shrimp farm located in the heart of beautiful Belize. Surrounded by a privately protected wetland habitat, the farm is the home of the new âCaptain Hookâs Shrimp Restaurant & Croc Barâ and ACES Education
We were directed to Captain Hook's by our resort host from 40 miles away as a great place to have lunch before our return flight. This place has friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We had the coconut shrimp and the garlic butter shrimp meals. Both were nicely executed, quickly served, and delicious! Being up high with a nice breeze, we had no problem with flying critters. It's very close to the airport, although down off the beaten path, which was convenient for us.

We walked across the street from the condo we were staying at. Leslie was our waitress and was very friendly and helpful. The food was great, I had the Brazilian Moqueca, my friends had the sea bass and deep dish lasagna.Would definitely go back.

We waited an hour (because we got there too early), but it was definitely worth the wait. Great view, great ppl, and the BEST CEVICHE. they had sour sop juice which i really enjoyed. No wonder itâs the localâs favorite!!!

Convenient location on the pier of the Belize cruise ship port. Downstairs offers great cocktails and light snacks, the upstairs is a full restaurant offering the best of Belizean cuisine. Conch, shrimp, fresh fish. Everything is made fresh daily. A great
After a very disappointing day not getting the cruise tours we wanted, we retreated to this dockside joint. Fast, friendly service and good prices. Nice way to take the edge off before bidding adieu to Belize.

Belize` s most reasonable and inexpensive elegant, cozy restaurant and bar. Many have called it the most romantic restaurant in Belize, but it also makes a great impression for a business lunch and dinner also those seeking the perfect fresh gourmet salad
Really, really excellent food. This place has a lot of seating and a great variety of food. I almost want to call it a "Sports Bar" because the bar section had TVs everywhere and they were all tuned to sports channels. There was a separate restaurant section, but the menus were the same. I had a delicious cheeseburger and my two goddaughters had quesadilla. Everybody came away happy and we will return soon.

In short, I ordered a takeout $10 + hamburger medium-rare. The restaurant was moderately busy so I tried to be patient. An hour passed. After repeated assurances that my meal would be ready any minute now, I got up to leave and my order showed up. It was getting late so I paid for the order and left the restaurant. When I got back to my hotel I was even more disappointed. The burger and fries were ice cold and the meat was overcooked. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
A fine dine restaurant located in the Country of Belize. We offer a wide range of local food that will leave you craving to return.
I visited late afternoon leading into evening. The ambience is more upscale than casual. I ordered a herb grilled chicken. I liked everything including the grilled vegetables.
