Find out what Caribbean restaurants to try in Aruba. Aruba is the quintessential Caribbean island, all sun and sea and stretches of powdery white sand. Time will slow to a pleasant crawl as you linger over a tropical cocktail or flutter serenely underwater, where only the parrotfish are in a hurry. The pastel façades of Oranjestad landmarks and shops lend an inviting and playful vibe to the capital city. Enjoy the shade of an Eagle Beach divi tree while the crashing waves of turquoise water create a soothing soundtrack just for you.

From a spectacular, converted building with a quasi-outdoor experience and an extremely unique menu, every offering is amazing. This restaurant and soon-to-be, Italian steak dinner restaurant next-door with a sister tapas restaurant next-door to that inspired us to do a second group dinner on our sales trip to Aruba in March 2020. This visit we did just dinner after sampling appetizers at Barefoot. The owner and manager and waiter were all amazing and we were elated over the experience and service we received. We even got a tour of the new Italian steak restaurant next-door. I donât have words to describe the unique menu offerings and the flavor that each dish had. Everything from dinner to desert and martinis were over the top. Our waiter was the brother of the bartender who made the awesome secret martini of the night. The quality of everything is truly special. We are excited to return next March and share this experience with our colleagues

Beach side dining, with even tables in the water. Great international menu, extensive wine and cocktail list and spectacular sunsets!
My fiancee and I were very well served by Mr. Romel who introduced us to the dishes and desserts. The price for Brazilians is salty as is the rest of the restaurants.

Always happy with food at Gostoso. It is hard to find, so take a taxi - but very worth it. I believe they close for vacation in September, so if you are coming in September you will miss out on a great experience.

While strolling the downtown area, we came across a place that will become a destination for all of our future Aruba trips. Without a particular plan, or reservation, we wandered in for a drink. Immediately, we were so courteously welcomed. This restaurant has so much charm, and warmth, also a cozy outside patio. The staff was so nice, and attentive. ( Rose and Laura). The owner, offered us a sample of their distinctive menu, which was amazing. The Moscow Mule, and Pineapple Mojito were equally delicious. We ordered appetizers, and dessert, even though we weren't that hungry!. It was such a comfortable feeling we had there, we made reservations for another night before we left. Our dinner was also a fantastic experience. The owner is a remarkable person, with a dedication and passion for excellence. Roseann and Rich

Nice little spot tucked on a backstreet downtown. Old building with low ceilings (low doorways too) but lots of character. But the wedge salad.....so good! Topped with multiple fresh toppings; tomato, onion, radish, carrot, seasoned grilled chicken breast and drizzled with a wonderful blue cheese dressing. My main on this visit was the Grouper Italiano; a nice filet topped with pesto, cheese, mushrooms and greens in a garlic flavored drizzle. Portions much to large to eat in one sitting so delicious lunch the next day!

Come and dine where everyone is like family... A once in a lifetime experience!
Food was bland. Service was initially quick and pleasant, however, the server did not write down my order (garlic shrimp) and brought me something I assume was garlic chicken. Waited a long time for food and when it came, no utensils. I was really hungry and after realizing the food wasnât what I ordered, the server had disappeared so I just ate what they brought. Not much else to say except when I mentioned to the server she hadnât brought what I ordered she later said she would have rectified the situation and immediately left. Well, the problem was she wasnât around after the food was delivered so I couldnât tell her and I was so hungry, I just tried to eat it. Wasnt trying to be a jerk. With so many wonderful restaurants on the island, I want to recommend this one and cannot.Sorry your experience was not like the other u are one off the people that we could not have please thank u kamini.

Haute cuisine (fine dining) 16 seats featuring Aruban and Caribbean Cuisine
Thank you Trip Advisor for letting us know about this incredible restaurant. Each dish was extremely complex (perhaps too complex) with many different flavors and techniques that it was hard to keep track of everything we were tasting-- but it was fun trying! The overall experience, however, was fabulous. The result of having everyone mingle before dinner and again midway through (each time with complementary champagne), is a warm and enjoyable atmosphere that carries through the entire dinner. Not only did we eat amazing creative food, we also had an evening of conversation and laughter with people we just met. We will put this restaurant first on our list when we return to Aruba.

A local glittering restaurant in the heart of Oranjestad, world-class seafood, prime steaks, and unparalleled service in a vibrant, up-scale setting.
What a gem. We were so happy with the ambience, service, friendliness and most of all the amazing food. We both had a whole red snapper that was cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth good! Our server, Kenia, couldnât have been nicer. We really enjoyed his warm welcome and his patience with our trying to decide what to have (great menu!). After many years of visiting Aruba and itâs abundance of great restaurants, Opus will be a must visit each trip and most likely more than once per trip!

Wow! Nathaly you told me that I smelled delicious, well not nearly as delicious as the food coming out of your kitchen! Never had fried polenta before, wow what Iâve been missing...fabulous! The huge hunk of grouper was the absolute most tender, moist, delectable piece of fish I have ever tasted. An adorable little spot with awesome service and food to die for! Canât wait to come back!!
