The Stagecoach, in the middle of nowhere in the Rideau Lakes, has a wonderful spread in a really pretty restaurant each Friday. Wonderful prime rib with homemade mashed and fresh vegs. Homemade bread. Reasonable beer and wine, or you can bring your own wine. We go every Friday and feast on medium rare, juicy old fashioned, fat rimmed roast beef. Yum! Oh and the other menu items are good too. Of note the place is nicely furnished with linen and good quality cutlery. It feels like a night out. Enjoy!

We were taken by friends to visit Kilbourne's on the Rideau for a shopping expedition (you gotta go!) and stopped in at this little gem for lunch! What a delightfully, "antiquy", spot! It has a fabulous, old-world, feel to it. The menu was simple and fresh and - what a surprise - delightful veggie/vegan options! We had the best veggie burger ever!!! Service was excellent. The garden was stunning. The setting just exquisite! We've since been back and will return again!!!

This is surely the worst restaurant in Westport. The service is unfriendly. The food is terrible. The interior looks like it has not been updated since the 70's. It is shocking to me that it remains open considering there is nothing worthwhile about this place. Don't waste your time or money. You are better off going to the local grocery store and buying a frozen pizza and cooking it at home. In fact, it would be way better. This place is a dying dog and is an embarrassment to Westport. Time to close up shop and let someone who knows how to cook take over. Please!
Small, local craft brewery offering small-batch brews, tasting flights, retail beer 'Cottage Crowlers' , local wine and small food bites and boards for sharing.
Hands down a wonderful cozy place to pop in for a beer tasting(on site brewery) and snacks! Warm friendly staff. Comfortable cozy atmosphere and my favourite -a great lager! Their food offering may vary depending on the day I think, but smoked meat sandwich, pretzel and charcuterie-are all amazing offerings! well worth the visit!
Lost Penny Pub. Now open! Westport's newest pub. We all need a place to relax after work, so why not do it by watching the game and grabbing a snack and a cold one. Enjoy a drink from our bar and a snack from our kitchen while you watch a game, read a boo
We stopped in for drinks and dinner with friends. The waitress (Natasha) was very welcoming and attentive. She was an excellent server. They had a good wine list and beer selection. They also had various drink specials each night of the week. The food was very good with large portions. Overall, great visit.

We had a late breakfast on a still busy Sunday mid-morning. We had the meat-lovers omelette and the Eggs Benedict - both were great! The two serving staff were attentive and fast - they had to be with the constant coming and going of patrons. There were both local people (always a good sign) and tourists like us. The only drawback to the place was the noise that comes with a very busy restaurant in one big open room with poor acoustics and sound-deadening, otherwise everything about the food, service and value are excellent.
Evergreen Golf Course is a 9-hole golf course (par 36) with 3,100 yards of fairways. Items on the Club Houseâs breakfast menu include eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, and omelets. Breakfast starts at 7:00 and ends at 11:00. Lunch/dinner menu items include bruschetta, nachos, wings, soup, salads, sandwiches, wraps, poutine, hot dogs, haddock, chicken fingers, salmon, shepherdâs pie, pork cutlet, and burgers. Sandwiches and entrees are served with fries and coleslaw or a choice of garden or Caesar salad. Dinner starts after 5:00. Tuesday night is hamburger night. Wednesday is all-you-can-eat spaghetti night. Saturdays, two can dine (two hamburgers or two chicken burgers with fries and coleslaw) for $14.99. And finally, Sundays feature a hot turkey sandwich dinner. Evergreen Golf Course is open seven days a week from 7:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night. It is located on Wolfe Lake off Wolfe Lake Road (five minutes from Westport, 45 minutes from Kingston, or 90 minutes from Ottawa). Seating (tables and chairs) is available both inside the Club House and outside on a covered patio with a view of the ninth fairway and Wolfe Lake. Service is good and the food is exceptional. The second hole at Evergreen Golf Course is probably the toughest par three in the area.

Tara and John do an outstanding job of treating their customers like family. We have been for lunch a number of times over the past 2 years and the last time in April was an 'Instaparty' for a girlfriend's birthday celebration. To accommodate us, they moved tables and furniture from one room to another so that the 8 of us could all be together. The food is always superb. The choices are small, but every choice is tasty and perfectly prepared. My favorite is the poached salmon....Yum! And the scones are amazing! We want to thank you for your kind words. As your group was the first to start off the Tea Room when we first opened and your continued support means a lot to John and I. Thank you again!

Nestled on the shore of the historic and tranquil Upper Rideau Lake in the quaint Village of Westport, is our family-owned, four season inn. The Cove Country Inn is known as one of the grand old houses in Westport. It was constructed in 1876 by the Freden
Sitting in the sun on the outside terrace in beautiful Canadian sunshine enjoying great company and good food. A lovely spot for lunch, great service and fabulous views. A varied menu, I wasn't entirely happy with my drunken mussels, they were a little dry so I felt were prepared before the rest of the tables food was ready and for me too much wine in the broth. But they were eaten and we really enjoyed this spot - great for familiesThanks for your review. Will investigate the mussels.

This lively restaurant offers delectable wholesome cuisine at reasonable prices. The house specialties are traditional pizzas but you'll also want to try fresh pastas, big salads and delectable desserts. Fully licensed. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinne
Went for breakfast with another couple on a Thursday. Quiet when we arrived around 9:30am but gradually filled up by about 10:15. Diverse crowd from babies to seniors. Fast efficient service and our meals came within what appeared to be a short time. We all enjoyed our food. The bacon was especially nice...meaty and not over cooked. This is a must visit if you are visiting or passing through.Thank you for the great review. We appreciate your patronage and the time you took to publish a review. Hope you visit again soon.
