Things to do in Trinity
We were torn where to go for lunch... we ended up here as it was on the main road and it appeared to be busy... We ordered burgers and fries, dressing and gravy... the burgers were homemade and good - decent size.... but the fries were not homemade.... dressing and gravy were a additional $4 plus tax.... I thought that was ridiculous considering they didnât peel a potato for the fries.... The staff were extreme friendly, attentive and diligent!! I wouldnât make a effort to go there...
On leaving Trinity we remembered the small sign by the side of the street just as you turned to go into town that mentioned a snack take out and we were getting hungry so instead of turning right to leave I turned left and went a hundred feet or so and saw this unassuming house and wondered if we were I. The right place. But there was a sign on the door saying this was it so I walked up to an older lady sitting on a chair outside the door and asked if we were at the right place and she indicated we should go in and turn right... so we did and there is this quaint eat-in/take out little restaurant... pretty clean and there were other locals there already so we sat down and ordered a club sandwich and fries and some sodas and scrumptious onion rings which you should try.The food was delicious and the owner asked us twice if everything was to our satisfaction and if we needed anything else. Plus the prices we very very reasonable!Kudos for something so good out of the way!Service was fast and food very good. If I ever go back to Trinity I will make it a point of stopping there again!

Very fine lunch after climbing Gun Hill! Pretty restaurant overlooking the water. Friendly staff, great lunch...the fish chowder was amazing, fries are hand cut and gluten-free options are available. I had a GF Club wrap that was delicious. Desserts are to die for! If you are in the area, take th time to eat here!

Visited on July 30, 2018. Had lunch and was quite pleased. Small casual setting with great food choices. We had fish cakes, burger and soup and sandwich between us all. Everyone was happy with their food. Waitress was very friendly and welcoming! Would recommend!

A classic historic waterfront restaurant that believes in simplicity and quality.Located in historic Trinity , Newfoundland where the fish trade began at the turn of the 18th century. There is also a gallery and craft shop above the restaurant that houses
No pretense- decent food- chowder was hearty, fried cod was fresh and seafood salad was underwhelming but fine. Not many choices in the area and this is fairly priced Thanks so much for visiting. Hope to see you come back again soon.

Licensed dining room with ocean and garden views preparing fresh meals with local and seasonal ingredients. Breakfast is served daily from 8:00am - 10:00am and consists of a hot and cold cereal bar with fresh fruit, freshly baked goods, bacon, eggs and to
At the outset this restaurant looks promising... there are some new views but that is where the positives end.The negatives.- Portions are small and bland.- Service is institutional. No individual pacing.- Extremely noisy with too many tables and sounds reverberate. The night I ate there.- Leek and Potato Soup... thin and flavorless- Salad Greens... a small portion of greens- Salmon on Bed of VegetablesI asked for cheese/fruit instead of a sweet. The result was a few pieces of cheddar and some fruit tossed onto a plate. No attempt at presentation.

We had made reservations for that night but during our drive to Trinity, my wife became ill. I went in and explained my predicament to the staff. They were very accommodating and arranged for take-out. Although we only got around to eating it 30 minutes later (after we got back to our hotel), the food was excellent. This place is so popular in the summer that reservations are an absolute must.
