Rick, the owner, takes pride in keeping his restaurants in top shape. The staff are friendly and professional, enough so that they even relayed a question to John Dunsworth for us. Yes, even a star character from Trailer Park Boys eats there. That pretty much sums it up.

Met with some friends here and it was a lot of fun with them. The atmosphere here is alright and the waitress was friendly. I had their poutine and it was alright. It was an overall nice experience. I'd probably go here again.

It doesn't look that great from the outside and doesn't get any better when you go inside. Menu was very good and the food was very good as well.Place seems to be well known locally for having good food and a very thorough menu. Also, great value for your money at this place. They could easily be charging more for their items. I had a clubhouse and a soup and both were great. Pop was a bit flat though (fountain from bar).Was also given a tip by one of the locals about the prime rib sandwich.

Nothing fancy, and the place is a dump but there breakfasts are excellent. Fresh home made bread, huge hearty portions, and properly cooked food at a fair price. The service was not great and the place over crowded with tables...but busy...very busy...no doubt because the breakfast was good.

I am traumatized from my experience - it was as if someone had thrown up a pizza they ate onto a newer pizza crust! The meat on the top looked new but the meat underneath the fake cheese looked recycled! Then I was charged an outrageous amount for a pretty small pizza which was inedible as well as a delivery charge on top of that! To make matters worse, I couldn't get an official receipt to claim for my work travel expenses. The receipt was handwritten on a calculator tape - how do you get reimbursed when the source of a receipt is questionable?? The so called caesar salad was awful too - anemic lettuce leaves with a few croutons thrown on top. It was accompanied by a store bought dressing in a container. Do yourself a favour and skip this place - I wish someone had warned me!!!!!

This is a winner for summer treat. Burgers and Hotdogs take out. For all the locals Popeye's opening is the true sign spring has arrived. great food! a bit of a wait in early spring!

The view from our cabin was breath taking. Unfortunately that was the only nice thing I have to say about this place. I've rented a few cabins before and this is by far the one that needs the most work. There was garbage everywhere. I mean everywhere. All around our fire pit, in front of our cabin, along the trail to the lodge - everywhere. When you drive into the cabin area there was a large collection of stoves and other large garbage. Holy heck. I wouldn't say it was clean, and if you plan to eat off of the plates give them a wash first. I found mouse poops in the pans.. The patio doors didn't lock in my cabin, but there was a stick so I guess it was secure. The other door had a large gap so the bugs could come in, and they did. Oh did they ever. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but only stayed one. I will say that the breakfast at the lodge was fantastic and all of the staff was friendly. I don't think I would make the trip up here again. It really is a diamond in the rough. There is so much potential. I'm shocked and saddened that a lodge on parks canada land would be so filthy. You would think they would have some say.. Thanks for your input. As we are new owners we are working on lots of updates and clean up for the last year. There will be lots of changes in the up coming year always working to better serve all the customers.

Have been here in the past - it was our second time here. It was really busy the night we were there. We sat in the lounge- food came fairly quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals. Lots of TVs on the walls for various sporting events.Hi, there! Thank you so much for visiting! We are glad to see that you enjoyed your visit! Great menu choices and not the same old boring pub food. Ordered the smoked brisket sandwich and it was amazing. All the other food ordered at our table looked good too. Prices were not out of line for the north. Staff was attentive. All around a good experience.
