Took myself out to dinner here and ordered the dry rib combo. The fries and gravy were good, although the portion size for the fries could have been a bit bigger. The ribs, on the other hand, were nothing to write home about. The flavor was less than average, and I just wasn't blown away by the ribs like I expected to be, especially because the restaurant is called "Mr. Ribs". Service was decent and fast, but that may have been because the restaurant itself wasn't at all busy. Server was really nice.I'm going to re-attempt to return to this restaurant and will order something else from the menu.
I asked the hotel clerk which pizza place in town she would recommend, and she made a great suggestion. The pizza was hot when I picked it up, plenty of cheese and just generally a very good pizza.

I've been eating their home made fries for the last 35 years and they were an annual (at the very least) treat to look forward to after 6-7 hours of driving. However, they appear to have changed the oil used in the fries and they no longer taste anywhere near as good. They are still homemade but they are definitely not what they used to be, not even close.

Myself and husband ate here today, delicious burger and fries. Home made beef noodle soup was great. Also pie and ice cream was delicious. Restaurant is a local treasure for many years. Walls have pictures and memorabilia from fur trapping days, lots to look at while you eat.
Why do people like Subway? Why? Whatever you order tastes the same, whichever Subway you go into smells the same. There is absolutely nothing appealing, enticing or alluring about Subway. It's a faceless chain of substandard sandwich purveyors and, even worse, the one on the street where I work has flashing, Americanized 'positivity' slogans urging you to 'be happy'.....grrrrrrrrr!

Business lunch meeting here. Oversized tables with lots of room to spread out. Service was VG. Menu has lots of choices and good variety. Food portions will ensure you don't leave hungry. Togo service for leftovers is available. There is a separate bar area that includes VLT's for those looking for a game of chance

After finding this restaurant, I kept coming back for the great food with reasonable prices.I tried the Fat Boy burger, the meatloaf, hamburger steak, pork chops, and fresh pickerel fish all served with homemade fries and a good gravy, most orders start with a stater soup and side vegetable. portion sizes are good and most are priced around 13.00 before taxes. This is a cash only restaurant but they do have an atm by the front door.

Here my wife and I have breakfast and sometimes a supper when we cannot be bothered to cook.Canadian brekky 2 of each, eggs, sausages slices of tomato, one hash brown tea or coffee. for less than 20 bucks.Other times we have one of the burger combos.Never had any let downs, always served well and in good time.It is one place my son loves to go when he's over from the UK, In fact it is the first place he wants to go. Mmmmmmmm A&W here

Dropped in for breakfast today on the recommendation of locals. Decor isn't much.....just tables & chairs but the place is clean. Service was prompt & prices are reasonable. I had bacon & eggs which came with 5 strips of bacon & a mountain of pan fries. My wife had eggs benedict & she was convinced that, while the hollandaise could have used a touch more lemon for her, the sauce was homemade and it was excellent. A good experience.
