Ok. Food was good. Fries were to small cut. Some selection of frozen seafood to purchase. Lady at counter was nice.
Good breakfast, forgot our hashbrowns, did not come around with more coffee..... I know A and Dubs', this one needs the "undercover boss" to fine tune the service and language barrier.

We arrived in Slave Lake late on a Thursday night. My wife said lets just go somewhere we know we can get lasagna for our 3 year old. She really loves it. Big mistake! They didn't have it on the kids menu so we got the adult portion. It was something like $15 for layers of pasta sheets with very little meat sauce and cheese. Even my 3 year old had only 4 or 5 bites of it. I ordered a steak sandwich $20 it was okay nothing special. My wife had a salad $16? All in all for what we paid I thought the meals were blah! Very overpriced for what we got. Can't see us going back to a Boston Pizza in a long time. Sorry BP's very disappointed in you.
I took my boys out for dinner before their Taekwondo class, great fresh food, but felt very awkward when the employees only spoke Filipino, they were talking to each other, took our order and continued speaking, we felt like we were intruding on their personal visiting time, out of three workers only one came out to help, I feel in front of a customer, while helping and serving customers a person should focus on their customers, not visit friends in another language, like we interrupted their visiting. Won't go back go a while.
It is a convenience stop on highway 88 north, with convenenience store and a full serve cafe, great value for money, great food with great service.
Whether itâs breakfast, lunch or dinner, Chinese or Western food, the Sawridge Cafe has great meals. When the buffet is on, the food is good and itâs kept well stocked. Depending on which server you have, service can range from excellent (your coffee cup never is empty) to mediocre or poor (you only get a refill if you flag her down and ask for it, then wait til she gets around to it, or ask another server). Overall, a great place to eat. I only gave it a 4 because of a couple of the servers. Hello Mama1112,Thank you for taking time to review Sawridge Travel Centre, we appreciate your kind words and your positive experience with us all the time, I will surely pass this to the team members, we will strive to make sure the coffee cup is never empty every time you visit us.Thank you,

If we order pizza Alimo's is where we order from. It's a family business and it shows in their quality and service. If you are there and they've got meat pies try them! Thanks for the feedback! We make meat pies 1-2 times a month and will usually advertise them on social media. They sell out extremely fast. We appreciate the recommendation. -Moe

This is my second stop at a Mr. Mikeâs. First in Peace River, now here. Again my experience was positive. The meals were flavourful , generous and cost competitive. The service was great and yet the restaurant was really busy. In general, this appears to be a very good chain for dining.
