Made the mistake of stopping here for dinner while on a family trip. The service was absolutely terrible and the food was sketchy compared to the price. They have the nerve to charge for pop refills that they setvice in small glasses. They don't tell you that at the same so tgey can further rip you off. Play it smart and don't stop at this place.

A million dollar view and good restaurant , but that's about it. Our room was tired. There was no clock, coffee, fridge, hair blower etc which one would assume would come in a 3 star hotel.Ice was only available from reception and the only wi-fi was in the lobby. But,the view was spectacular and the staff was great.

Stopped there on a whim because it was on my way back from the museum and it hit the spot.Went for the hot dog, fries, and soft drink trio for 6.75$, which was good value. Fries were very good. It's a casse-croûte, so nothing fancy. But it did the job and then some! Especially the portion of fries, which was quite generous. If you're looking for tasty and affordable fast food, with indoors and outdoors seating areas, Le Bocage will scratch that itch.

Busy place with a charming, rustic, country Quebec feel. All staff were really friendly, working hard to serve the full dining area with line-up waiting to get in. Typically Quebec home-cooking. Very tasty and generous portions⦠will not leave hungry or disappointed. Prices very reasonable. Breakfasts served until 2pm and overlapped with lunch menu. Many popular Quebec dishes that even my husband recalls family members making. I believe that is both the draw for customers and the subject of conversation. We both had our choice of âTable dâHoteâ (set menu) beginning with a tasty soup, continuing to our meat loaf platter, and finishing with homemade dessert. Bread was baked on site as well as the pastries and other Quebec recipe foods available at their store. Whatever you choose, you canât go wrong.

Stopped here for a drink by chance on a trip cross country. Very pleased we did - the home made lemonade was fabulous and I was very jealous of others nachos - they looked fabulous as did all the food. The town is well worth a stop too - a little funky, by the river, a great place to stretch your legs

This pizzeria has regular, if you want to call 2 inch high ingredients regular pizza and thin crust specialty pizzas. Both are very good, with loads of fresh ingredients. There is also a bakery that you can pick up breads and amazing deserts. Although it took awhile for someone to acknowledge us at the door, we were seated quite quickly and had a super good waiter by the name of Jonathan. Most people only speak French but he was perfectly bilingual and very helpful and attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely restaurant (with bar upstairs) in local vintage house with comfortable outside dining. The food is superb, extremely fresh and tasty, with attention to detail and quality. Superb service, friendly and highly professional. Cheese plate of local artisan cheeses was spectacular. Salmon on my salad was done to perfection...soft, moist and tasty. The local greens were exceptional, as was homemade vinaigrette. Creme brulee to die for. Highly recommend!

Our home cooking is made with products fresh from the area and with lots of love! Our secret? Comforting soup, fresh bread from our bakery, apples, pears and other freshly picked fruits. Maple syrup from the region, herbs from the garden, sausages with cr
Fun, lively, great service and terrific food - a gastronomic delight. There's a simple reason why this restaurant is rated as number one in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli - it ticks all the boxes! The topper is that you can bring your own wine and, for a small fee, they will provide the glasses - what more could you ask for?
