Stepping into Grillade Maska is like stepping into a friend's home. It's warm, welcoming and casual. The house salad dressing should be bottled and sold retail. The Soup de Jour was a creamed asparagus with dill; and, it was wonderful! The staff were very friendly, proud of their work and eager to please. The cannelloni came with an awesome herbed ragu sauce, and lots of fresh mozzarella.Grillade Maska is a hidden gem!

The Wife and I were looking for a restaurant where we could get a full breakfast, and came upon this place. Ampule parking (shopping center). Went in and was taken to the booth of our choice immediately and given the menu at the same time (one side is in French and turn the menu around and the English is on the other side (great idea) We ordered and were given coffee. I cannot say how long it took but we were very surprised even with the amount of people in the restaurant the order came very quickly and it was correct. The girl checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was right. Food was good, fast service, polite waitress (spoke English) and the price was also very reasonable

Come enjoy a delightful meal at Restaurant Casa Flora. At this restaurant you can bring your own wine. They are open late all week. You can get there not only by public transit but also by car. The neighboring location is memorable for its merchants.
On my way back from Québec City, I stopped at Casa Flora for a quick dinner before continuing my treck home. They do not serve liquor or wine, it is a bring your own wine establishment. A bit of a disapointment but not their fault, this is the type of restaurant. I ordered a breaded shrimp plate that was quite greek style (sort of an imitation of Casa Grecque). At first, the look was ok but when the tasting began, the rice was bland from having sat in the warm table for to long. The same goes for the garlic butter that tasted almost stale (again coming from the steam table). All in all, the food was acceptable at best. Will not return.

I was visiting family in Saint-Hyacinthe and did go to Brulerie Mondor every morning for a Cappuccino. This place has been bought by a young guy and he is revamping the place. It looks very nice. The employees are offering a very good service. Wifi is free. I will go back next time I am visiting family.

Don't know how one can do rotisserie chicken wrong...but they did! Super salty and really greasy. Fries were the worst ever!

We wanted to try St-Hubert after seeing the chicken delivery cars everywhere. We thought it was fried chicken but our visit to this one put us right. Very popular place with the locals. The service is very good, even for anglos (we can speak French but not that well) in this francophone town. Good value though the menu is a bit overwhelming. Good fries though the chicken pie could have been better. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and suitable for a pricier joint.Good to try and/or if you want a quick meal (they seem to cater for 1 hr lunch breaks) but no good reason otherwise.

After a long day I thought I'd just go to Scores, grab some take out, and go back to my room at the Holiday Inn. Pick 3 salads to go...great idea! I chose Greek, Thai and Kale. The Greek salad had no feta, no pepperonchini and no black olives. Really???? The Thai salad was nothing more than a pile of tasteless noodles. The kale salad was drowning in mayonnaise.

We were two couples traveling from Plattsburgh, NY and Quebec City and were looking for a lunch stop. Many reviews said there were not really good places to eat between Montreal and Quebec City. We stopped in Sainte Hyacinthe in hopes of getting a Quebec map from the tourist Information place, which was pretty close to the expressway. While there, we asked whether they had a lunch recommendation and we were enthusiastically given directions for a short drive to the "old town." There was an easily accessible parking lot, then we walked along several blocks of attractive buildings, store fronts and restaurants. We chose Le Bouffon and were all very happy with our meals and the service. I had the Le Sandwich Club - which was on a baguette rather than the traditional two layers of bread, and came with fries. My husband had their hamburger special, also with fries, and our friend had the house poutine - all were very flavorful, especially the great bacon!

This restaurant says it all about the city's chef creativity. Unique concept, enhances your culinary experience to a new level. Most of the offerings are pretty simple in the description, but when it lands in your mouth, it's a whole new definition !!One the best crème brûlée I've had in a while ;-)They also offer a good wine list to complete it allEnjoy !
