As a first time diner at Lake Country, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the atmosphere was, how tasty the food, and how great the service. I had a chicken on a ciabatta with a chipotle mayo and Caesar salad, and both were excellent.

In 1993 Brewery Bay Food Company opened its doors in beautiful downtown Orillia as a 'fun dining' option for our locals and visitors alike. We wanted people of all ages and experiences to walk through the door and feel comfortable, greeted with a big smil
On Saturday evening with no reservation this wonderful restraunt got us seats for 6 people! Most couples had various hamburgers. I had corn beef! Nicely prepared wth crushed sauerkraut Pickle and fries. Oh I forgot the draft beer was amazing restraunt. The only problem was : we were beside two opening windows and were unable to open them. Food is amazing.

Have been a very satisfied return customer for several years, but not today. Given that it was Father's Day, etc, one would hope that the kitchen was prepared to offer the same wonderful standard they have in the past. Lamentably, they were not. Appears there has been a change of executive chef, and, wow, does it ever show - he is the one in charge, the one who must take responsibility. My Duck Duo was about the worst possible interpretation of this previously excellent dish. The breast portions were scanty and undercooked, while the leg portion had apparently been pressure cooked, and was stringy and overcooked. The risotto was mushy and the sauce was overly salty. Even the vegetables were meh!My companion's Seafood Paella, far from being a delicately balanced blending of seafood, sauce and vegetables, was overcooked and without any nuance. The large chunks of chorizo were out of place and unnecessary.Service was attentive only for the first half, as summer staff seemed unprepared for the influx. Norma Jean is still herself, but some training is in order. And the decision to present soggy focaccia instead of warm bread was a poor one.Overall, for the price, the meal was way below expectations. We are not those guests who complain at the table, but our disappointment will be registered here and in our lack of return visits.Hello Lost My Trust,I am sorry to hear about your experience at the Grape & Olive. We do hope you will give us another chance. I will go over this with my Chef and Norma Jean. We have been getting great reviews and this is the first one that has come across negatively. Chef Paul is very good and we do hope you will return. Michelle Weber-General Manager

We were trying to find a new diner since the one we used to go to in town closed recently. My husband had pancakes and I had French toast. The French toast was fresh and cinammony and delicious.my husband enjoyed his pancakes as well. Can't wait to try other things on the menu. Lots of regulars there, always a good sign . The service was quick, and the waitresses were all very attentive and friendly, as advertised!

I went here for dinner one evening. It is a small restaurant with table and booth options. They also have take out and pre made items. I opted for the vegan burger with vegan cheese. Overall a good experience. I would go again to try other items on the menu.

This was our first time here and it definitely won't be our last! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire dining experience here the other night. Our waiter, Austin, was one of the best servers we have ever experienced. His demeanour was so positive and he was very professional - he could work in any fine dining location, anywhere. Both couples shared an appetizer size caesar salad each and it was enough for each. Crisp romaine and just the right amount of home made dressing. Two of us ordered the maple/hoisin glazed salmon with risotto and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, with nice texture and flavours. The braised lamb shank was full of flavour as well and was an equally good choice. We were celebrating two birthdays so dessert was on the house which was such a nice surprise - creme brûlée and cheesecake - both good choices. Really nice atmosphere to dine in as well - very warm and inviting. Comfortable seating. Our new favourite place in Orillia! Thank you for a wonderful evening.Thank you very much for your kind words. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us here at Era 67, and yes, Austin is fantastic, and we appreciate the complements. We are very lucky to have an amazing staff that really make our guests feel welcomed. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Cheers

I had been years since I was last at Theos.I remember it being upscale and relaxing . This visit was very different- babies crying, children running around. Very noisy and loud . The food was not upscale, it was bland and overpriced . The waitress encouraged us to eat quickly since there was another booking after us. I will not be back .

I go here mostly for the cappuccino. There are lots of high carb snacks, thoâ no gluten free options and the only fresh vegetables are the three or four leaves of lettuce that you get when you order an entree with âsaladâ. The soups are hit and miss. The panini are very good but they serve them only until 2:00 pm. Newly expanded. Go for the ambience.
