Another small local spot in Maple Ridge that is making eating local very happy making. Best poached eggs brekkie I have had in an age. The food is simple, not oversized and emphasizes taste over quantity. No liquor available, I did miss my mimosa. On our books as a regular weekend breakfast place.

My sister and I wanted a special dining experience, and we had heard that we could have a fine dining experience here. The atmosphere was less than friendly, and we haven't been back since in spite of the fact that the food was fine because we look for good food and friendly service. We were also disappointed that there were no dessert offerings.

Our humble restaurant is inspired by homegrown, handcrafted and seasonal fare. We offer breakfast till 3pm every day and serve artisanal food for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins and take-out are welcomed with a smile.
It was nice to drive out to MR and get here. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun. The food and service was average but he ambiance made up for it.

Pleasant and helpful staff, upstairs area very pleasing, Four of us had different main courses, all of which were excellent, but somewhat pricey. Their wine selection included two Australian wines from most probably the most famous vineyard area in the country namely The Barossa Valley....BUT dear Chameleon The Barossa Valley is not in Victoria as you state - a South Australian would not be seen dead drinking a Victorian wine!!

It's a lovely shop with lovely products, but when I asked for 200g of each of two (expensive) cheeses, I asummed I was getting something close to that. In a well-run establishment, a well-trained staff member tells the customer if it's not close. One cheese was 0.282, one was 0.262. In my book, that is sharp practice. Its about TEN dollars more.

We live in the north end of Maple Ridge and had an overnight power failure which meant going out for breakfast. Our first thought was the Home. We eat here fairly regularly and have never been disappointed. A lot of people must've had the power out because when we got there, there was a lineup at just after 9 in the morning. No problem. They dealt with it quickly and easily by opening up the other side. Even though they were inundated by a larger than normal horde of customers, the staff and servers handled it like professionals. They didn't act rushed, they gave each customer their full attention and were chatty about what everyone was going through, while keeping the coffee cups full. My wife had the two eggs with bacon while I opted for the corned beef hash, which came with strips of perfectly done corned beef on a large bed of shredded potatoes and fried onions with strips of red peppers scattered throughout. And two eggs on top. Absolutely delicious and filling. The portions are so large, we skipped lunch and only wanted something light for dinner. Probably our favourite place in Maple Ridge, although a few weeks ago, I had the meat loaf and it wasn't as good as it usually was. I'll chalk that up to an off day as it's usually excellent.Thank you very much for the kind words. That certainly was a challenging day for everyone involved! We were lucky enough to have power at the restaurant so we could keep the community fed and caffeinated :) We look forward to serving you again.

Located in the heart of the Port Haney neighbourhood in Maple Ridge, BC, The Billy Miner Alehouse & Café is open for Breakfast â Lunch â Dinner, seven days a week. Our focus is on fresh local ingredients with an emphasis on made-from-scratch Gourmet Burge
I really want to love this place. Staff is always welcoming but I question the cleanliness. Window seals are always full of spider webs. All the nick nacks scattered all over are full of dust and the flys Are just sickening. Here now during a slow period and all the empty tables are dirty full of crumps and not washed up. Love the atmosphere and I wish we had another place like this so close to home but I think Iâm finished with eating here.

Wow, if you want to save the planet and all of it's little creatures then this place is for you.Forgive me but I expected normal food, decent portions . I got stared down when I asked for salt and pepper ( yes it is not on the table) It was like the whole place went silent, thought the waitress was going to scream....could you imagine not accepting the food presented as being perfect! lolDont know what they are trying to do here. Over priced, small portions, and a strange atmosphere. NEVER AGAIN
